Fighting the effects of the self induced coma 2nd Lt Thirman moved his hand and slowly spoke a few words but only to the monitors surrounding him.

Recalls of the fall rushed through Murdochs mind until he hit the bottom.

Alesha had walked into sick bay to check on Thirman as she'd been concerned since his fall. Pulling up a nearby stool Alesha took a seat "You'd do anything to get out of being my wingman," she said softly..

" Aaa..Isha. " Thirman smiled. " Wings...up."

"They will be just as soon as Dr Long clears you for duty," Alesha said taking his hand.

" Thank you for cominggg to see me." Thirman said a ittle clearer. I tried to tuck and duck but that doesn't workkk from that height."

"You knew I'd come," Alesha said "Just how high were you? All I've heard is that you were high but I've not been told how high and didn't you have a safety harness on?"

" 1500 feet. The lines just gave away."

"1500 feet? Your lucky you weren't killed," Alesha said "What's the saying? You live under a lucky star. I like you and want you around for a while."

" I like you too ." Thirman winked.

"I'm going to let you get some rest, Dr. Long will skin me alive if she catches me in here," Alesha said getting to her feet. "When your released I'll make you dinner, I'm a pretty fair cook."

" Grunts usually are. I can't wait." Thirman half smiled as the wounds on his face prevented it.

"You rest and I'll be back later," Alesha said giving his hand a squeeze.

When she left Thirman screamed out. " The pain is killing me." he cried for the Nurse.

The nurse walked over and gave him a strong painkiller that would put him back to sleep. Jotting it down for the CMO as to what she'd given him
