Nix and Heather had just finished their morning workout and training together when Heather asked "So what else is on the agenda for today" since the two ladies were pretty much on their own with the Intelligence Chief away on Star Fleet business.

"Let me go checkin with Commander Green" as was her usual routine to maintain some sort of accountability "Then I'll meet you in the Intelligence Department.....we need to start going through the intelligence reports from Star Fleet with the Chief gone. Let's say in two hours....I'd like to grab a shower after that workout you put me through" Nix replied with a grin.

"Ya ok, you sure it wasn't the other way around" Heather replied with a grin. So the ladies went their separate ways for now.

{Intelligence Department}

After a nice hot shower and a quick bite to eat Heather returned at the designated time and walked into the intelligence area when she noticed Kira at her usual post keeping an eye on things "Good morning Ensign Foreese and how are you today" she asked.

"Lieutenant Devroe, I'm doing fine. You're here early" Kira commented.

"Not that early.....I've already had a two hour workout session with Lieutenant Dunjen, a shower, and breakfast" Heather replied with a grin as she looked up and saw Nix coming then decided to make herself scarce " I'll wait for the Lieutenant inside."

Nix walked into the Department and stopped to talk with Kira for a few minutes. Heather couldn't help but notice Nix was all smiles while talking to her.

When Nix walked over to Heather "Looks like you two are becoming fast friends" she commented with a grin.

"Am I that transparent" Nix asked with a smile.

"Well let's just say when you're around Kira you're all smiles" Heather stated then had a thought "After our shift is over why don't the three of us stop in Ten Forward for a couple of drinks and maybe I'll asked McTavish to join us as well."

Nix thought for a moment "That sounds like a good idea since Kira and I haven't hung out in awhile; besides I wouldn't mind seeing Heather again either" she replied.

"Good I'll ask Heather and you go ask Kira" Heather commented.

A few minutes later Nix returned "All set for later" she stated "So let's get to those reports. By the way anything that you read must not leave this Office.....you can't even discuss anything with the Commander."

"As much as I hate to keep things from Jamie, he knows better than to ask about my job since he's aware of the security Intelligence requires" she replied.

The ladies spent the rest of their shift reading over the Intelligence Reports from Star Fleet while signing off on them and filing them for Lieutenant McKeon's return.

When they were finished the three ladies left for Ten Forward with Heather tapping her Comm "Lieutenant Heather McTavish we're on our way to the Lounge....join us when you can."

"I'll be there shortly....I just have a couple of things to finish up first" came the reply as the other three were on their way.
