Post Number 9 Treating The Survivors

The three survivors once beamed into sick bay Kristian had already rolled out a large decon chamber complete with various jells that they would need. Pulling a curtain across to block out any prying eyes she opened the door “I’m Doctor Kristian Long, I’m going to need all three of you to disrobe, I’ve placed the needed jells in there and you’re going to have to apply the jells all over your bodies.” Kristian looked at the Andorian who was expecting “Yes it’s safe for you and your baby.”

“Are you sure?” Vryssia Sh'qevar asked holding her belly

Kristian nodded “Yes, I did my residency on Denobula and they taught me a lot including the jells needed for this. None of you will have to be in there long as you were in one of the freighter.”

“I’m Adam and this is Becky, I understand this needs to be done, but is there anyway the women can be together and I can be alone?”

Kristian thought a minute and nodded “There is, I can activate the EMH.”

“Thank you doctor,” Adam said as Kristian activated the EMH and all three disrobed and entered the decon chambers.

Kristian walked into her office and activated the viewer so she could monitor things. Nearly four hours later Krtistian walked back to the decon chambers and checked things. Everything was green across the board and after running several scans she was satisfied that they were free of the radiation. Grabbing three robes Kristian opened the doors and handed each of them a robe.

“Thank you doctor,” Becky said helping Vryssia Sh'qevar into her robe, then Becky put hers on. Adam walked over tying the belt of his robe

“I’d like to keep all three of you here overnight for observation. I’ve already contacted Commodore Song about guest quarters for each of you. But firstly I’d like to check you out especially Vryssia Sh'qevar.

“My mate is still on the freighter,” Vryssia Sh'qevar said

“We’re working on getting everyone off. In the meantime you’ve all been through a lot and I want you here so I can keep an eye on you for overnight and if I like what I see I’ll release you in the morning. I have small bedrooms in the back of sick bay,” Kristian said as she led the way to the small bedrooms “I keep rooms here just in case. And come morning you should have guest quarters. I want all of you to get some rest.”
