BUGS OH NO!!
Location: freighter
Timeline: current

Bjorgo, from the angle at which he stood at the biobed attending to Thoros, did not miss Kirk's actions when digging into his medpack just outside the Delta. With precision and speed of dexterity he did what he could for Thoros, making sure NOT to give a Klingon an analgesic since they liked to feel the pain of their wounds. The radiation affects on his skin would feel like a mild sunburn but he would make a full recovery. For now, better to let his body do as it would. Klingon physiology had Brak'lul, an organ redundancy. Extra liver, an eight chambered heart, dual spinal cord, you name it. This was why it was very hard to kill a Klingon in melee combat for the average being. You could stab them in the heart and the organ would shut down the damaged chamber and open another to compensate so that the warrior could fight on until they received medical treatment. This was the reason why they were, in his opinion, among the best warriors in the galaxy, even when they are half drunk.
Finishing his task Tore cleaned his hands and then exited the Delta, seeing kirk over by the exit door from the hold, back to him as she was watching her tricorder. With the speed of an augment he was on her in a second, providing a Vulcan nerve pinch that sent her slack instantly. Catching her and lifting her he then carried Kirk into the Delta. "Follow me, people." All the refugees got up and followed the Doctor into the Delta. Using his foot he hit the release for a fold out bunk and placed Jim upon it when it flattened out. Bjorgo then turned to the refugees. "Can any of you pilot?"
"I can," said a man who looked to be in his thirties. "I was Starfleet for a few years. Flight Control was my specialty."
"Well, Sir, you are now deputized." Stated Bjorgo with a grin. "You get in that seat and get clear of this freighter. Get clear of the entire battle until she wakes up. She'll be angry but she will understand. Save these people, then we can save ourselves."
"You got it, Doctor."
He made to leave out the back when he was called from behind so Tore half turned to look back.
"What are you going to do?"
Bjorgo took a moment to answer as his face showed a bit of regret mixed with melancholy. "Redemption," he said. "Do as I asked, please." With that said he turned and walked away, removing his EVA suit and getting down to the bodyglove one wore underneath. Radiation would be the least of his worries now with what he had planned.
The man gave a nod and went to the front of the Delta, taking the pilot's seat. He had not been in a Delta in quite some time but he knew them well. Activating the engines and then the flight systems he closed the aft hatch/ramp and lifted off of the doors/deck. Tapping a key he saw the doors slide open and he dropped the little ship out the ventral section of the freighter, turned away from the raging battle and hit full impulse.
