Mission:
BUGS OH NO!!
Location: freighter
Timeline: current
ON:
Bjorgo had made his way to the Bridge on the freighter, Cosmo down in engineering compartments rolling around and effecting enough repairs for the engines and to clean up the radiation on all decks. He was doing a bang up job, with more than half of the Bridge stations back to full power. Tore tapped the comm key on a panel. "Cosmo, we set?" The droid answered. "Good. You know the plan, just give me what I need. How about the low-yield disruptor turrets, any luck?" He got a negative answer. "Too much hardware damage. Figures. Alright, we do this the old fashioned, totally insane way. Give me all the impulse you can, buddy."
When Cosmo relayed that he had half impulse, Bjorgo pushed the slider up to half and then tapped keys and laid in a course for the asteroid, setting auto pilot to park next to the derelict. The Overseer would get the report she had asked for and then some. Holding his 'sister' Perzha as ransom to get him to do as she demanded had twisted Tore's soul. As an Augment he should be callous about Perzha getting captured, but his newfound character appealed to him. His loyalty was with the Federation despite his ruthless ways in his younger days. Song had trusted him, as did others, and here he was letting them down all for a 'sister' that was not even truly related. But, she was like him and that made them family in his opinion. They had always referred to each other as siblings, and for many years she had galavanted around the galaxy with him, taking mercenary pay and assassination contracts from the Orion Syndicate.
Bjorgo had found it odd that the Amandora had halted her progress, stopped in space with shields up. That could only mean she got slapped harder than he had thought. Tore made sure his teral'n was over his back in its holder. Maybe he could stop the Overseer, maybe he could not. Either way it was going to end bloody.
