{Star Base Pegasus}

Lieutenant Cassandra Zolon arrived on the Base just before the USS Amandora was to dock for some much needed repairs; this would be her first assignment on a Galaxy Class Starship. The sooner she was able to get aboard and sign in then the sooner her crates could be delivered to her Quarters.

As soon as Cass heard the announcement that the Amandora was at Docking Ring G521, she threw her duffle over her shoulder and headed for her new home.

Just before she reached the corridor to board the Ship, Cass stopped, unzipped the pocket on her duffle and grabbed her transfer orders then straightened her tunic; she was a big proponent of the importance of first appearances. Once done she took a deep breath and proceeded down the hallway to her new assignment.

{Amandora}

Once Cass reached the entrance to the Ship she noticed a young man, an Ensign, at the Security Station "Excuse me Ensign, I'm Lieutenant Cassandra Zolon the new Science Chief reporting for duty" she stated with a smile as she placed her papers in front of him.

The young Ensign started to say "May I he....." as he then looked up "l..p...y..o..u" as he tried desperately not to stumble over his words; but the new Lieutenant was a vision to behold.

"Yes I'd like to be checked in if it's not too much trouble" she stated in an even voice.

"Ah...yes...of...of course Lieutenant.....this will only take me a minute" as he grabbed his PADD and started pressing keys. Shortly "You're all set Lieutenant....you've been logged in and are now an official member of the Crew.....welcome aboard" then he just stood there staring into those big hazel eyes of hers.

"Ensign do you think I could bother you for a PADD with my Quarter's assignment and security code; a map of the Ship would be helpful also" she commented waiting for the young man to come to his senses.

By this time the Ensign's face had taken on a nice shade of pink "Apologies Lieutenant, I'll get you squared away directly" he replied feeling a little embarrassed. A few minutes later he handed Cass the requested item "Here you go Lieutenant."

Taking the PADD Cass smiled "Thank you Ensign" as she grinned at how cute the Ensign had been despite being tongue-tied; not that a man was in her plans currently. Walking forward Cass would navigate herself to her Quarters.
