Horton Clinton saw the Chief arrive and scrambled behind him as the others were. Meeting time was nigh as they had a ship to repair.

Ainkara left her small lab as she was being summoned to an Engineering meeting. Curious, she thought. Engineering duties were her tertiary, or secondary role, but to be needed gave her a good feeling. So, standing and smoothing her powder blue catsuit she hooked her devices to her belt and off she went. After her walkabout through the ship she turned into the main area for Main Engineering, seeing the 'pool table', or main schematic reader station/table with a small crowd of people in various department colored shirts. Mainly, gold. Stepping up behind the crowd from her angle of entry, Ainkara stood quietly and waited with them.

The Dragon as Dorox was called filled the blanks as he assigned duties. Horton nodded as did the others but Dorox turned his attention to Ankira.

" Cadet ? What is your specialty?"

Cadet, that was better than crewman, since cadet denoted a chance at officer, and the ability to act as one. "Since my first duty is sciences, Sir, then I can re-frequence the shield emitters or any number of other duties in regards to Science priorities. Recalibrate the sensor dish itself, physically, if need be. Other than that I am an extra set of hands for all other maintenance issues."

" I will need all hands on this please. We have to be ready to roll in twenty four hours." Dorox replied.

Cadet Ainkara gave a nod of acknowledgement. "I will go where needed, Lieutenant Dorox. Anything I can do to assist, you will have my best."

" Good Cadet team 2 is under your command. Dismissed."

Not expecting a leadership role Ainkara found it most agreeable as she kept herself aligned. But, the word was given and she would not fail. "Aye, Sir." Turning on her heel Kara immediately walked away to go gather her team and get to work.
