Lieutenant Saunders relaxed in his quarters after a long day. Engineering was in good hands with the crewman working on assignments. Damien had spent the better part of his afternoon checking small issues in the core unit, hydrologic generator assembly.

The fact was, the Amandora was a well-designed ship with little issues.

He felt at rest, turning on one of his favorite movies. He took a drink of beer. He kicked up his legs on the other end of his couch.

"Say hello to my little friend!" He spoke in tandem with the actor in the movie "Scar Face."

After a few brewskies, he fell asleep where he had crashed on the couch.

It would be his shift in another five hours' time.
