"Hey, Dwight!" Called out one of the admin staff on the planet Midora III.
"What's up," asked Dwight Bachman from over at another wall of stations, looking at the irrigation system for the third time today. It was still a mess and why he was counting on the arrival of Starfleet.
"Your girlfriend is here." The man said it all cheeky, grinning like the Cheshire cat.
Dwight, not at all on the same page, stood there looking around. "What? Who?" He still did not see anyone.
The guy laughed. "No, Gov, not here. That angel you kept flirting with on the Amandora. They just arrived in orbit."
"No shit," said Bachman, walking over to see the screen himself, not that he did not believe the guy. "Nice. We can get the damn irrigation fixed. We got more leaks than a colander in the bloody thing."
"Not to mention our power issues," added the staffer. "The power core needs a serious overhaul, and with our transport out of touch, it's getting bad."
"Well," said Dwight. "Let me call up to heaven and see if my guardian angel is ready for a shopping list."
They both chuckled. "Schmooze her some more and I'm sure you'll get anything you want, up to and including a date with her."
"Hey, don't curse it before it even starts, buddy." Again, Dwight laughed along with the younger man. Commander Green was definitely a looker, and by the way she carried herself and her posture she was fit as a fiddle, and looked to be shaped like one too.

On the Amandora Green had met with Kirk and told her to get all her small craft ready for possible use. The cargo transporters would be doing a great amount of work, but the atmospheric craft could do that much more. With not knowing the entire situation Ro was trying to set up for any contingency. She, herself, would take a party down below and land where designated, to meet with the townsfolk and determine what their issues were. Once done she had returned to the Bridge as she had promised, just in time to see Amandora drop from warp and Song ordering a standard orbit directly over the colony. With the looks of the planet it would be arid, but there were patches of green here and there, and rivers could be seen but they were few, with larger bodies of water being either the recipient of their existence, or feeding them. There was a mountain range near to the colony and a huge lake, something along the lines of Lake Shasta in the US, back on Earth. Several of the rivers could be seen feeding into it and draining from it. So, with the arid landscape and warmer temperatures, Green would don the khaki desert uniform for Starfleet personnel, with the trousers, hiking boots, and a long sleeve shirt, all made of thin material to offset heat and allow the skin to breath while protected against the sun. She could not wait to go down and meet Dwight, having realized who he reminded her of. The closest approximation that had come to her mind was the older looking Sean Connery, when he was in his 50's, with the weathered face and gray streaks in his hair, but a man who had charisma and looks despite his many years in outdoor environments. Oh yeah, she thought, I definitely want to meet him in person.
