Coming back on the saddle

I'm on my way back to where my new assignment will be, the USS Amandora, CO Commodore Cindi Song. To be honest it is great to be able to breathe fresh air, they say new assignment, new life... I hope it turns out that way.

Summarizing these last years after the end of the Dominion War, I've been an empty shell... with the deaths of my beloved wife and daughter, I became an automaton, unable not even to care for myself... less to care for my son. So I have to seek help from my parents to raise him as a great character, but to be honest they aren't getting younger, and raising a kid as energetic as my own isn't very simple for them anymore. To be honest I can't bring him on to my new post because it may end in the same way as with Elaine and Sarah and I can't permit myself to get there, even if I miss my son immensely.

Traveling through civilian liners is so boring, even as the captain has allowed me to stand watches due to me being a commissioned officer in the UFP Marine Corps have been a great way to pass the time.

New post, new life... I sincerely hope so...
