{Deck 1 - Bridge}

After the Briefing Jamie and Maria walked out then proceeded to the lift "Deck 36" came the request. Looking over at Maria "SanChez what are you thinking number wise for the our away team" Jamie queried.

Without hesitation "Four plus myself and you fully armed since we have no idea what the hell we'll be walking into over there" she replied.

Jamie grinned "Why did I even bother asking, you know what you're doing" he stated "Don't forget the EV suits. We'll all meet in the Transporter Room 1, then beam aboard the Shuttle" Maria gave a smile with a 'thumbs up'.

{Deck 36 - Engineering}

Walking in Jamie saw who he was looking for "Lieutenant T'vek a word please" the Lieutenant came over to Jamie.

"Greetings Commander, what can I do for you" he queried in his usual Vulcan manner.

"Since I'm new being your Chief I wanted to clarify something for you. I'm also Second Officer, as you well know, and I'll be gone from time to time on other assignments...the Commodore keeps me busy" Jamie explained with a grin "So when I'm not in Engineering the job falls to you until I can select a ACEO."

Looking at the Chief "That would seem the logical choice given my rank and experience" T'Vek stated matter of factly as Vulcans usually do.

Jamie just gave light chuckle...bring back memories of his conversations with another Vulcan back on the Independence "Well this is one of those times. I will be leading an Away Team over to the USS Ohio to check things out."

"I will do my best Chief" he replied then turned and went back to work.

{Deck 38 - Security}

Maria walked into Security "Gather around people we have an assignment" she stated as everyone grouped around "I'm going to be needing Grimes, Nash, Chi, Fuller, and myself. I want full Tactical gear and you'll have to wear an EV suit; at least for the first trip over. Any questions."

Nash spoke up "So what's the gig that we need suits, I hate those things" she commented matter of factly.

SanChez explained "We're heading to a Star Base with three docked Ships. The Brass haven't been able to get a rise out of any of them so the Amandora is being sent to find out why. Also we'll be heading to the USS Ohio along with Commander O'Connell to see what's what" then she looked over "Nash suck it up you will wear an EV suit."

Ensign Samantha Nash just grinned "Ya ok, whatever you say; but I don't have to like it."

SanChez rolled her eyes "One other thing the rest of you will be on standby in case we run into trouble; so be ready. Ok lets get the lead out of our collective asses and get prepped for the Mission" Maria ordered.

O'Connell walked in a few minutes later seeing everyone getting their gear together and checking out their weapons as he walked over to Maria "So how did it go SanChez" he whispered in a low voice.

Maria looked up with a grin "Smooth as silk Chief" she replied "Now let's get you outfitted as well so you're safe. The last thing I need is to have your wife up in my grill and kick my ass if something happened to you; that's one women I wouldn't even tangle with."

Jamie chuckled "Smart move" as he started grabbing his gear as well.
