Mission:
Vanished
Location: Various
Timeline: Current

{Amandora}
Commander O'Connell led the Away Team, including five fully armed Security besides himself, into the Transporter Room. Stepping on the Pads, the Commander turned to his Team "Ready for this" as he heard "Ayes" all the way around. Looking at the Operator "Beam us directly to the Shuttle Euphrates....Energize" came the order.
{Euphrates}
A few minutes later the entire Away Team was aboard and everyone grabbed a seat. O'Connell turning to his Team "We'll beam over shortly two by two so stay alert and be ready for anything and make sure you leave your helmets on until we figure out if the air is safe. Any questions."
Looking around he didn't see anyone with questions knowing everyone was eager to get on with it. Soon they were in transporter range.
SanChez spoke up "Ok Grimes and Nash you beam over first and take defensive positions....Chi and Chief next then Fuller and I will follow. Once we're all there no talking and hand signals only until we figure out what the hell happened over there; understood" she instructed as everyone nodded yes.
{USS Ohio}
The Away Team materialized on Deck 2 and started to move forward. Jamie used his Tricorder to check the air quality and also for any contaminates.....gratefully nothing was found out the ordinary. Tapping SanChez on the shoulder Jamie gave the 'up' sign to move to the Bridge.
Once on the Bridge the group looked around...it seemed eerily quit but everything seemed in order. Jamie noticed a mug of coffee in the Captain's chair armrest and scanned it.....it looked like sludge and was more than a few weeks old.
O'Connell and SanChez both tried to access the different console's but to no avail.....unfortunately neither Officers had a high enough security clearance.....this would have to be done by the Commodore to access any of the Ship's logs.
Maria looked over at Jamie "This sucks Chief not being able to get any firm answers as to what happened here" she stated matter of factly.
"I know what you mean but we need to push forward and check the rest of the Ship" he replied then told the group "So far the air quality seems to be fine but I don't want to take any chances by removing our helmets just yet."
The next four hours the Away Team checked he Ship deck by deck but still nobody was home.....it was like they just all vanished into thin air.
Finally they ended up down in Engineering.....Jamie was surprised to see the Warp Core still online and 'purring away' like nothing had happened.....but as was the norm the area was devoid of people.
After checking the air quality on every single deck O'Connell was satisfied with the data as he looked to the group "The air is just fine so it's safe to remove our helmets" he instructed as he saw everyone remove their's and sighed a bit of relief.
"We may as well get back to our beam in point and get out of here; we're not going to find out anymore today" O'Connell ordered then the group proceeded to get back to Deck 2.
Once they arrived the Commander tapped his Comm "Euphrates this is O'Connell, we're ready to return two by two whenever your ready" he ordered as the first two that left the Shuttle had now vanished from sight.
After they were back aboard Jamie made a few notes on his PADD, along with the Tricorder readings, to give to the Commodore hoping that she would have some relief knowing the air was fine on the Ohio.
