Brol had completed the day and now awaited the arrival of Ensign Eva Humphreys. Her lingual phonics protocols were adapting daily to the cocular implants Brol wore and now he finally had a finely tuned voice.

Eva also had installed an updated federation data base to help Brol know more about the Federation.

In the readings Brol learned a great deal about Terrans and its earth. About its flora and fauna and about its indeginous peoples abd animals.

Ironically fixated on snakes and spiders Brol was fascinated that the spiders had not consumed the earth,as they had his world.

" How did earth defeat the spiders?" Brol asked Eva.

" No defeat. We coexist or we use natural insecticides. Deterrants or move food sources." Eva replied.

" Interesting. This might work on my world." Brol replied.

" Brol you seem so sad. Can't you go home?" Eva asked.

" We exited Brol to escape death. A people without a home. Fellow Brol are out there on a similar trek." Brol replied.

" I'm so sorry Brol," Eva replied as she patted Brols limb.

Brol accepted the compassionate gesture as he felt affection for Eva friendliness.
