Kristian had gone to check on the status and condition of sick bay, when she and Glenda walked in they found things half done. Everything looked as if they’d be right back. “Glenda this makes no sense, the admiral said this kind of thing had been found all over the base but when you see it, it makes it more real. Where did everyone go?”

Glenda shook her head “I wish I knew doctor,” she replied walking over to a bio bed and picking up a medical tri-coder that was laying there and picked up a second one off the floor. Walking back over to where Kirstian was “I found these, apparently someone was using them and just set them down and one fell to the floor.”

“It’s creepy,” Kristian said taking one of the medical tri-coders and activated it and ran the results on it. This is from the chief medical officer a Doctor Malibu. He was running a routine physical when he just stopped mid physical. Hand me the other one.” Glenda handed Kristian the second medical tri-coder, activating it Kristian ran the results and ran it again “Take a look at this and tell me I’m not seeing things.”

Taking the medical tri-coder from her boss Glenda ran the results and frowned and then looked at Kristian “You’re not seeing things because I’m seeing it too. Kristian it’s an ant, or at least that’s what the scans show.”

“Why did they run scans on an ant? If this scan is right the thing is able to walk on two legs,” Kristian said “We need more people over here and I need someone from science.” Tapping her com-badge “Admiral this is Long, I’ve found some interesting things in sick bay, I’d like to request a couple more medical personal and someone from science to beam over.”

“Already working on it doctor, I’ve sent word to the commodore that we need more medical personal and science. I’ve asked for Herculoid as this matter may boarder on diplomacy as well. They’ll be arriving soon. In the meantime see what the COM’s logs have to say. I should tell you that there have been children found in the lower levels of the base and they’ll be coming into see you for a check up,” Paul responded

“Children?” Kristian asked “Did I hear you right sir?”

“You did doctor,” Paul replied “Keep me posted and I’ll be down soon. I want to see what you’ve found.”

“Understood sir,” Kristian said looking at Glenda

“Children? How is that even possible as there is no one on the base or so we thought,” Glenda commented.

“I guess we’ll find out and as soon as my cousin gets over here she’ll be the one to look at this tri-coder,in the meantime we need to see if there are any more surprises in here while we wait for Tara and some more personal to join us,” Kristian said “I’ll go look over the CMO’s logs, keep your phaser on stun and be careful”

“I’m on it doctor,” Glenda replied as she picked up a tri-coder and drew her phaser and headed for a look around sick bay while Kristian walked into the CMO’s office for a look at his logs.
