Priority: High

After gathering numerous amounts of data from both the Base and the Ohio I was able to realize some semblance of answers.

The data was fed into the Holographic Simulation Table in the Stellar Cartography Lab. What I initially thought was the beam out residual was from one massive event. Upon studying the simulation the residual was multiple small events with almost identical residual readings; these should have been different for each event. As far as to where they were beamed to is still a mystery....insufficient data.

After O'Connell's encounter with the big bug, he sent off the recording with hopes Comms could somehow translate what the bug had communicated. Also he sent off a report to Command as follows:

Subject: Information

Priority: High

After going over various logs from the Ship there wasn't anything that would indicate foul play; however their absence indicates otherwise. During my investigation I encountered a six foot bug, or more accurately an ant. The being tried to communicate with me, but the universal translator did not find it's language in any database. After recording the creature I have sent off a copy to Communications in hope they can find a way to translate what the ant was trying to communicate; which would shed some much needed light on this situation. I will continue to evaluate more logs looking for some answers.
