Post Number 88 Sick Bay Visit

I borrowed Cassandra briefly

ON:

Kristian had spent several quiet days in sick bay as there was nothing going on. The children that were on the ship from the star base had been checked out, they were staying with several of the Amandora crew.

Kristian was just getting ready to leave for the day when the sound of the transporter was heard, seeing Alesha and Cassandra beam in with Cassandra’s arm around Alesha’s waist, Kristian rushed over to where the two women were. Kristian didn’t need her tri-coder to tell her Alesha was badly injured, she was cradling a broken arm, she sported a black eye and several bruises to her rib cage. Turning to Cassandra “Help me get her on that bio bed,” Kristian instructed as they helped Alesha onto the bio bed causing Rivers to wince.

“What happened?” Kristian asked picking up a hypo-spray and loaded it with a strong pain killer, pressed it against Alesha’s neck. “You’ll feel better in a few seconds.”

Cassandra filled Kristian in on what had happened

“That explains why she’s dressed this way,” Kristian commented

“You know I am here,” Alesha retorted

“I’ll leave you to your patient doctor,” Cassandra said as she exited sick bay

Kristian propped up the head of the bio-bed Alesha was on and helped her lay back “Is Brisco dead?”Kristian asked as she picked up her medical tri-coder and scanned Alesha to make sure there were no other injuries that could not be seen.

“I don’t know,” Alesha replied “One can only hope. I know Nix and her team infiltrated his ship that’s how I was freed.”

“Tara’s out in your fighter and if Brisco tries to flee she’ll knock out his engines,” Kristian said as she mended Alesha’s injuries

“From what I understand they destroyed the bridge monitors,” Alesha replied

“He still has auxiliary control,” Kristian commented “Unless they went there,”

“If they did, they didn’t say anything, they were too concerned about getting me freed and back on the Amandora,” Alesha said

After thirty minutes Kristian scanned Alesha again, closed her tri-coder, helped Alesha to sit up “I’m going to release you, but your grounded for seventy two hours and before you argue with me, remember I can fly that fighter of yours and I know the force behind it. Do not make me make this an order.You had four broken ribs, your arm was broken not to mention that black eye all of which I’ve fixed but you muscles are going to be tender. Go write your report and relax, you’ve earned it.” Kristian removed her lab coat and handed it to Alesha “You go walking through the corridors dressed like that and you’ll get looks, but this on to go to your quarters in and I’ll pick it up later.”

Alesha got off the bio-bed and slipped on Kristian’s lab coat and belted it around her waist “Thank you and I promise I’ll be good,” Alesha hugged Kristian before heading to her quarters.
