This will end the mission. I’ll put us into character development for a few days while the next mission details are being worked out.

ON:

Cyndi walked from her ready room after getting summoned for a conference call with Star Fleet Command and the Federation Diplomatic Corps. It seemed they were going to take over not only the rescue of the crews from the Horizon, the Victory and the Ohio but also the return of the crews, officers, civilians and the Ant beings home world to see what could be done to help them. Cyndi had protested that she wanted to see this out to the end but orders were orders and there were times when you just had to follow them despite how you felt. This was one of those times. The Amandora had been out of service for a month and that in Command’s eyes was long enough.

The seven children were to be returned to the star base and into the hands of social workers, all that was left now for her to do was to recall the personal and her husband from the star base and get ready to get underway. A prison transport ship had been dispatched to take Brisco his people into custody and to be held on a penal colonly in harsh conditions, one that would make his escaping from difficult. The crippled Orion ship would be towed to Orion Space where their fate was up to the Orion government to handle.

“Communications hail the star base, inform Admiral Sanderson and his personal they’re to return to the Amandora, contact,” Cyndi ordered

“The admiral acknowledges along with his personal and they’ll be back aboard in minutes.” Communications responded a few minutes later.

Cyndi took her seat, tapping her com-badge “Engine room prepare to get underway, bring warp engines online. Helm standby to break orbit of the star base, as for course you may indulge yourself. Communications inform the bridge crew they’re to report to the bridge for duty.”
