Mission: Character Development
Location: planet
Timeline: current

ON:

After her orbital jump to the planet below Commander Green had been involved in diplomacy and a duel of honor to get the two hives of bug people talking on more peaceful terms. During all of this she had met with Dwight Bachman, her lover and the father of her unborn twins, and he informed her that he had decided to remain a 'joiner' and remain with the hive. To be their spokesperson to other humanoids. However, along with that, Dwight wanted his children to remain with him, with the insectoids having the means to remove her unborn children and place them into a form of "In Vitro" where they would also become joiners. Fed and taken care of like the insectoid larva and seen to with just as much care.

For days Green mulled that over in her mind, and during her entire 16 days on the surface she never once removed her helmet or her armor. Right up until the moment she made the decision to leave her children with their father and their new 'in-laws'. Ro had no idea how to be a mother, and at one time, the idea had seemed grand. Now, not so much. When they prepared her for the procedure Green finally allowed her armor to be removed, then she was placed in a honeycomb-looking section, walled in with their wax, with small larva the size of her pinky fingers. A protuberance came out of the ceiling which she covered her mouth and nose with, to breath while the chmaber filled with a viscuous semi-clear sludge. The most uncomfortable part of the entire procedure was when the little larva, which the Bugs called 'fingerlings', swam and wriggled their way into her body, to do what would be necessary to remove the children without harm.

Between the fingerlings and the tentacles that appeared and disappeared into the chamber walls, her twins, one boy and one girl, were removed and placed within organic receptacles to continue their growth as the fetuses they were. After Ro climbed out of the chamber and got all the sludgy substance washed from her body and dried properly, she redonned her armor, complete with helmet. Speaking within her helmet, muted to the outside world. "Cosmo, contact Ensign Jazmin."

"Are you sure you are okay, Master Ro?"

"I'm fine, Cozzy, thank you." And, she was. There was no telling what Rogue Green would care for next, or when. A character flaw she had developed once she got adopted and given a home around other people.

Dwight Bachman approached, that awesome smile of his always catching her heart. It was unsettling looking into his eyes, which were now like black ink, with no white in them whatsoever. "Rest assured, my love. They are in good hands, and will be raised as a part of the hive. They will never want for anything and they will always be cared for." He did note that Ro made no move to remove her helmet, so his eyes looked at his own reflection in the T-visored gunmetal grey helmet.

"I will remain in contact in my own way. No distance can squash the love I have for them. Keep them safe, Dwight. You don't want my return to be vindictive and vengeful." Green's chin lifted slightly, the faceplate now at an angle where he knew she was looking at him.

"Already they are being communicated with," said Dwight, grinning with joy at the thought. "I finally found my place in this galaxy. I hope you find yours, Ro. Truly."

Green gave a slight bow from the neck. "My place has been found. With the negotiations done and the crews being returned, I need to get back to the Amandora." Reaching up Green pushed her thumbs up under the lip of her helmet, the two designated spots for helmet removal, and pulled it up and off. The hood was still like a second skin, keeping her braided hair in place, with Ro stepping in and kissing Dwight with love and passion. No words were said as she finished the kiss, put her helmet back on and then spun on her heel and walked away.

"Master Ro, I have Ensign Jazmin on communicator."

Green smiled behind her helmet, loving the fiery little Arab woman. "Ensign Jazmin, you still have a lock on me, Missy?" She chided, teasing and keeping the moment lighthearted.

"Of course, Commander. I never got word to shut it off."

"Beam me up, Jaz. I've had enough of this sector to last for years to come."

"Don't blame you, Commander. I could use with a change of scenery. Energizing, now."

Within moments Green was aboard, taking herself to the back to dress down out of the armor, placing it all back in the chest, before showering and donning a fresh uniform. Not too much longer and they were landing on Amandora.
