Cyndi walked into the science lab and over to where the science chief was, “Lieutenant are you busy?”

Turning around “Never that busy commodore, what can I do for you?” Tara asked

“These seedlings that the Brol has in here, where are they?” Cyndi asked

“In the back of the lab, I heard what happened to the counselor and I didn’t want to take any chances on anyone else eating the fruit. At least not until I know just what we’re dealing with,” Tara said leading the way to the back of the lab and pulling aside a curtain where several of the young trees could be seen, “I have no idea what they are or even if they’re dangerous, they were brought in here and that’s the last anything was mentioned about them. I don’t think you should go any closer as I don’t know anything about them and I won’t risk your life,”

“Lieutenant that’s not for you to decided,” Cyndi warned

“Perhaps not, but you’re my commanding officer and I don’t want anything to happen to you,” Tara said “And until I know what we’re dealing with in here no one is going any further.” With that she pulled the curtain back across and turned to face her commanding officer “If I’m out of line I’m sorry. But they were just brought in here and I’ve been given no instructions on them. I find out anything I’ll let you know.”

“Thank you lieutenant, I’ll leave you to your work,” Cyndi said as she headed out of the lab.
