Green sat in her quarters as she pondered various topics and situations. Dwight and the children were in the extra bedroom provided for her XO quarters, arranging it for their use with the aid of the Quartermaster. There were issues on Amandora, there was no doubt. She had mulled over possibilities for days now and had finally come to a decision. Activating the keyboard on her desk and the holographic screen, she began to write a message.

Re: Departments

Greetings Mister Montgomery,

As you well know, as Number One it is my duty to fill in for a department when no supervisor is present. To say this takes up a great amount of my time would be an understatement. After reviewing your record I see that you have all the certifications for Engineering, which makes you the perfect choice for an Operations Manager, as well. With that said, David, I am offering you the position of Chief Engineer, and if you think you can handle it, remain the Operations Manager. A combination of the departments that keep our home running smoothly. If this is something you feel you can handle I will back you on this. If not, then the CEO post is being offered and we can always find another for Operations. Thank you for your time, Lieutenant. Get back to me when you have made a decision.

Respectfully,
Commander Green

Closing down the computer, Ro leaned back in her chair in thought, rubbing her lips lightly with her fingertips. Having been a CEO in her past, Green knew the importance of having a dedicated officer there, one who saw the ship as their personal property and saw to it that said property was in the best shape it could be. Hopefully, if David chose to take the position, Amandora would not get a Scotty, but a Monty. That brought a grin to her face. Shaking off ship business, for now, Ro got to her feet and went to the room for the twins. The door slid open and there they were. The three people she loved most in this galaxy. She walked in to join them in decorating and for some quality time. It was still disconcerting to see them so big and grown, but she was adjusting quickly.
