Tara had stopped in the diplomatic office to check feeds and any messages. Seeing one come in from from the detective that had been hired to locate Alesha's husband, Tara opened the message and once she read it, she knew once Alesha was made aware of that she'd take off and go find him herself.

Tara plugged a PADD into the computer and downloaded the report. The commodore needed to be brought up to speed on this and then decide how to tell Alesha. One thing at a time, first the commodore. Tara left the diplomatic office and headed for the bridge. Not seeing Cyndi in the center seat a quick check with David, Tara headed for the ready room. Walking over she palmed the door chime and waited for Cyndi to answer.

Cyndi turned from the window in her ready room "Come in,"

Tara walked in "I'm sorry to disturb you, but I have something that you need to see before I tell Alesha. It's serious," Tara handed Cyndi the PADD.

Cyndi took the PADD and read it, she then looked at Tara "I didn't even know Alesha was married, let along having a daughter. Fill me in on this." Cyndi took a seat at her desk while Tara took a seat across from her.

She married Raul after he'd pursued her for about a year, she finally gave it. They were married in a chapel on Amzock, I was her maid of honor. Roughly a year later after a difficult pregnancy Alesha gave birth to a daughter. Named her Amber. Amber was about a month old when for unknown reasons Raul walked out on her and took the baby with him. My parents set out to find him and until I got this a few minutes ago through the diplomatic channels there was no leads as to where he was. Alesha needs to know but if we tell her she'll bolt and hunt him down," Tara said

"It's a matter for the Amazon government isn't it?" Cyndi asked

Tara shook her head, Raul is not Amazon, he's Risan. It's a sticky situation and I don't know what to do. If I tell my parents or her parents things will get ugly fast. According to that Raul is not on Risa."

"If memory serves me right Alesha's parents are Starfleet Officers only they're on extended leave for reasons I don't know," Cyndi commented

Tara nodded "Marlaina and Kalief are both Starfleet Officers. I know what happened resulting in them taking a leave and it's not my place to discuss it. That has to come from Marlaina."

Cyndi nodded "I agree, now how to tell Alesha as your right if I were in her place I know what I'd do. Nothing would stop me from getting my son back."

"So what do I do? If I keep this from her and she finds out she'll blow her stack. I also fear if my aunt sees it she'll tell Alesha."

"Your aunt being General Long," Cyndi said

"Yes," Tara replied "I don't think she'd say anything, but this is better coming from me than anyone else."

"I'll tell you what, I'll call her in along with Intel, Commander Green and Lieutenant Johnson. You'll be here too and we'll break it to her and offer any assistance I have at my disposal to find her daughter," Cyndi said after a few minutes. "One question regarding Raul, does he have family on Risa?"

Tara shook her head, "Not to my knowledge, he was raised on Amzock and speaks our language fluently. The bad part is Amber does not know her mother and the report I gave you, Raul is involved with the Syndicate."

"Get your information together and I'll call a meeting in an hour," Cyndi said
