Post Number 3 Pizza With Family

Tara and Kristian had arranged to meet at one of the restaurants on the base, a place called The Cats, they’d just sat down when Narla and Richard walked over to their table.

“Dad,” Kristian said getting to her feet and hugging him “When did you get here? Join us.”

“I got in about an hour ago, gained permission from Cyndi to board the ship and see your mum, went to sick bay after that to see you and one of your staff said you were on the base along with Tara so we decided to join you,” Richard said as they took seats.

“Have you ordered yet?” Narla asked “And Tara tell us about finding Alesha’s daughter?”

“We haven’t ordered yet,” Kristian said

Richard picked up the menu and looked it over as did Narla “This says all food it cooked fresh and nothing is replicated. Is that even possible?” Narla asked

“It is, I’m Kitten, I’m the owner, I have a small farm on one of the moons where I raise animals, crops and fruit along with other things so yes everything is fresh. My boyfriend does the cooking.”

“It’s been a long time since I’ve had a Hawaiian Pizza,” Richard said “Make it a large one,”

“Make that two,” Tara replied “That sounds good,”

“Good choice,” Kitten said collecting the menu’s and walked off to put the order in

“Now what’s this about Alesha’s daughter?” Narla wanted to know

“I got some feeds through the diplomatic channels and after doing more checking I contacted Commodore Song and filled her in. She called a meeting between myself, Commander Green, Alesha and the Intel head. A rescue operation is going to happen to find Amber,” Tara said “And bring her back.”

“Tara it’s been three years, we don’t even know what she looks like and she’s not going to even know Alesha,” Narla remarked

Tara pulled out a PADD, tapped a few commands on it and handed it to her aunt “I used age progression and this is what we believe Amber to look like.”

“And just where is she?” Krstian asked

Tara filled her aunt, uncle and Kristian in on things

“I don’t like it but if there is a chance,” Richard commented

“Keep us posted on this,” Narla said

"I'll do that, just don't tell Marlaina until we know for sure. I don't want to get her hopes up either," Tara replied

"When Amber get here I'll give her a good checkup. In the meantime I just want to spend time with my family," Kristian said

Before they could comment further the pizzas arrived, Kitten served the first pieces "Enjoy and if you need anything please let me know," Kitten said as she walked away

"This is wonderful," Narla said after she'd finished her first slice. "I've not had fresh Hawaiian Pizza in a long time. Remind me to stop here next time I have I'm out this way."

The four of them chatted and ate the pizza's for a few more hours until it was finally time for Narla and Richard to leave. Tara went and paid the bill while Richard dropped a few biils on the table and the walked from the restaurant. Goodbyes were said, Narla and Richard headed off for his ship while Tara and Kristian made their way back to the docking ring.

"What do you say we check out a shuttle and head to one of the planet?" Kristian suggested

"Why don't we take my shuttle, I've not used it since my transfer out here and it needs the flight time," Tara replied

"I like that idea, it's neutral ground for both of us. Give me a few hours and I'll meet you in the shuttle bay," Kristian said

"Done, I'll flight prep it and let the commodore know we'll be off ship for a little bit," Tara replied as they boarded the ship and each went her own way.
