Post Number 30 Repairing Damaged Consoles In Auxiliary Control/ Going Out To Investigate

After a couple of hours Paul snapped the front of the console he’d been working on and looked over to Tara who had just finished re-programing the science and diplomatic console. “It looks lieutenant that we’re back on line down here,” Paul said picking up a rag and whipping his hands on it.

“I bypassed the bridge commands so they won’t see anything, we still don’t have control of the base as the command codes unless the mercenaries have them still belong to Admiral Snow,” Tara commented

“I’ll bring Cyndi up to speed on things,” Paul responded tapping his com-badge “Cyndi Herculoid and I have finished in auxiliary control, she’s bypassed some of the bridge commands. We don’t have control of the base as your friend Admiral Snow holds the command codes.”

“Thank you both,” Cyndi replied “Tara fire up Rivers fighter and get out there, stay cloaked but patrol out there and report back to whatever you find.”

“Acknowledged commodore,” Tara said.

“Be careful,” Paul said as Tara climbed through the Jefferies tube and made her way to the landing bay, once there, she made sure before opening the cover that the coast was clear, dropping onto the deck she headed for the fighter. Once there Tara dropped the cloak long enough to key in the access code to shut down the alarm, pressing a sensor the ladder appeared. Climbing in Tara once again engaged the cloak, ran a flight check, fire the engines, lifted off and turned the fghter toward the opening of the base landing bay and headed into space. Once clear of the star base Tara banked and came in under the star base and headed into space dodging the debris field as she went.
