Following the inquisition and meeting with the debriefing unit Sabbath wasted no time booking passage on a courier from Danvers back to the Sol system.

Joining the others shaken by the after math Sabbath decided now was the time to go home. Not to Vulcan but rather to his childhood home on Earth where the native AWA people lived.

This was an unnerving time for everyone both from the Amandora and the Danvers as lives had been taken and a huge ship in Starfleet had been destroyed in order to prevent more lives from being lost.

Deciding on Earth Sabbath made his plans to visit his childhood home of the AWA indigenous peoples.

The return was very native as he took a starship then a shuttle and then a small boat down the Amazon to the last known area of the AWA only to find they had moved.

An entire people had simply vanished from.Earth.

The only sign of their ever being there was a totem of another sect of natives that had placed it there as a warning g to not enter this ground as it was haunted.

Taking his chances Sabbath pitched his tent and stayed the evening with plans to leave the next day. But as night fell Sabbath made a remarkable discovery.

The AWA had not left the area but had some how come in contact with a cloaking field. One large enough to hide the entire village. He discovered this while gathering wood for a fire. As he bent over to lift a log his hand vanished, only reappearing as he let it go.

But why?

Now entering the field Sabbath walked into the no where and then saw his old settlement and even the Vulcan hutch that he grew up in .

Suddenly set upon by speared warriors Sabbath backed off as he knew they were lased with poison tips

" Where is the great chief?" Sabbath asked in Awaian speak.

" Leave alien whybwe are willing to let you." a warrior warned.
" Where is Kawato, or Doneta?"
" Taken by the aliens. Why have you come back here?" the angry one asked.

" My work in the clouds has ended. I came home to see Navala."
" Horns of Stone took her to mate. She is his now."

Navala had been Sabbaths friend from youth and to hear Borns of Stone taking her only broken his heart.

Coming all this way to now not see his friend saddened his Vulcan heart.
