#4 Seeing To Several Matters

Mission: Aftermath
Location: Starbase Danvers
Timeline: Current

ON:

Captain Rogue Green had immediately set in as the chief engineer of Danvers, to oversee the repairs and reconstruction of such a massive facility. She had picked her team leads, gave them their assignments, and then let them go and do as they would. After that, Ro had met with the nine members of the Federation Council who had come out to Danvers, with a full escort of Defiant=class vessels. They had all beamed to the planet, and Green led them through a grand tour of the archipelago islands just off the coast that housed the ancient ruins of a long lost civilization. Hours went by as they talked back and forth about the Meji, their sworn oath to protect the Federation, and how these ruins would fit well as the 'academy' for the Meji.

It was perfect. All natural, built through hard labor and the resources taken straight from the earth around it. Ro told them of several members of the Amandora crew who were willing to take up arms as Meji, even if they could not use the mysterious power she referred to as The Core. Merchants, warriors, administrators and, of course, those who could wield special 'powers' to uphold the ideals if the Federation, and protect them. The original ideals, not the corrupt version it had become. She swore as the Grand Master of the Meji Order that their goal was to return the Federation to what it was meant to be, not further its cause for warfare and lack of sentient rights. Ro had asked them to name the ancient ruins a reserve, a protected area of the planet Danvers, and not under the jurisdiction of either the Federation or Starfleet. It would be Meji. Without invitation no Starfleet personnel would be allowed to enter unless there for a mere tour of the sites. The council members assured her all would be taken care of. They also agreed she could recruit anyone to the Meji she saw fit to add, but that any, and all, who were also Starfleet would have to be on record until they left service. Special pins added to uniform near to a combadge would suffice to let others know they were of the Meji Order while serving in Starfleet.

With all that being taken care of, Captain-Master Ro Green walked through the halls and chambers of the ruins, her mind running through what each chamber should consist of. The loss of Amandora had left her bereft of all that she had worked so hard to build up. If not for the USS Euphrates being on Danvers when the attack came, the small starship would have met the same fate. Montgomery, Johnson, and the others had all done what had been needed to keep Amandora out of enemy hands, and also preventing a mass destruction event. It was unfortunate that their minds could not fathom that side of it, only the fact that they had killed others. But, as with all living things, there were those who could handle things better than others. Perhaps teaching them Meji meditation techniques was in order. Ro shrugged it off. She would address it if it became a problem.

Having secured the next step in building the Meji Order, and finding a place they could call home, Captain Rogue Green finished her tour. Boarding the USS Euphrates she then ascended through the atmosphere to return to the main part of Danvers; the orbital station.
