Tara had boarded her shuttle and after a flight check lifted off from the landing pads on Amzock and headed for the moon that was listed off limits as the moon’s inhabitants who had been discovered about ten years ago were in the early stages of development. Only a handful of people were permitted to even go near the moon and even less were permitted to land on it as the Amazon Government had the space listed as restricted and anyone caught hear the moon would be escorted away and to ignore the warning markers and flew too close would be fired on, not shot down but warning shots.

As Tara flew close to the moon two fighters were on an intercept course demanding she turn away. Tapping the comms “This is the Princess, stand down,”

“Sorry Princess, I didn’t see the markings on your shuttle until now,”

Tara thanked the fighter pilots as she cloaked the shuttle and began to descend onto the moon, banking around so she could land behind the blind that was built into the cliff face where the main village was located. Setting down behind the blind, Tara kept the shuttle cloaked and set the instruments to scan the area. Stepping off the shuttle she made her way into the blind, switching on the systems she took a seat and after several minutes of looking over the data collected nodded. There now appeared to be a second species on the moon. Neither species had yet to be determined.

Tara ran several scans and focused on a mountain range several miles away, ran several scans on it. Added the scans to a PADD for later study away from the moon.

After several hours Tara closed the blind so even if the villagers made it to the cliff face they’d not see anything, setting the instruments to scan and collect data, Tara got to her feet, walked from the blind and carefully secured the back entrance so it too blended in with the rest of the cliff and rocks. Boarding her shuttle Tara fired the engines and lifted off, remaining cloaked headed toward space, once clear of the moon she dropped the cloak and headed for the planet eager to tell her parents what she’d found. That moon had to be protected at all costs.
