< Danvers >

A midst the repairs and restarting all non assigned Starfleet officers aboard the base each seemed willing to fill in and help.

Upon his arrival Sabbath also felt the obligation to assist. One such job was Isolinear Processing, a job where three usually prepared them.

A table with three seats and a host of chips sat on the table. Individuals inspected and then passed it to the next person. The last placed them in a box to distribute to where ever they were to be sent.

A tellarite, a terran and now a Vulcan filled those positions.

Boaz was a middle aged Tellarite and he functionally knew how to inspect the chips. Rochelle the female added the casings Sabbath the Vulcan would finalise the process by passing it through the lineator device.

For three years Boaz,Rochelle and an Andorian name Cleff had enjoyed the harmony of singing while they did their job. But not that Cleff was in the infirmary the job was now just a job.

Even Sabbath could sense their reluctance to work efficiently.
" Is there a problem? Does my being here cause you distress?" he asked Rochelle.

" No it is just tomorrow is the departmental talent show. We were almost a sure thing to wind but now we have to forfeit. " Boaz stated.
" What is your talent?" Sabbath asked.
" We sing and harmonise." Rochelle added.
" We did but the Andorian had to go and get himself hurt, " Boaz added.
" What is the song?" Sabbath asked.
" An old terran song about working together to complete a task. I've been workin on the rail road? Have you ever heard of it?" Rochelle asked. Sabbath raised his eye brow.

< One hour later >

" I've Been Workin on the railroad, all the live long day..." Sabbath sang in unisome with the other two.

Finishing up the last of the chips the trio paused their song.

" It would seem we are finished. " Sabbath said.
" Your voice is pitchy." Boez declared.
" He was new at it. Clearly he has never sung before, but you inspected more chips than Cleff ever could. Thanks Sabbath. "

" You are welcome." Sabbath replied.
