The paint on the Mercury was still dry in some spots as Commander Raymond observed.

He had boarded at 0600, rallied the flight crews and now headed to the pilots wing to address their new roles.

This first batch were old guard that had stepped up to get the station running. Newer pilots some even fresh from the academy were coming soon.

Will even had been assigned his own runabout to get from one docking port to the other unaware it would be needed before lunch.

Picking up Kordell the runabout Obed quickly jumped to warp.
