Post Number 21 Carefully Collecting Samples and Observing things

Tara had observed the villagers as they went about their daily tasks The meal had been wonderful and it had been good to eat real food instead of replicated foods even though she was able to do some cooking in her quarters. There was something about eating in the fresh air what was relaxing.

The commodore was talking to some of the villagers, Kristian was talking to several women who had told her about some of the babies who had been born with spots and some of those babies had died.

The scientist in Tara kicked in and she wanted to do some checking on some of the fauna but that had to be done carefully as to not draw attention. Spotting some odd looking fauna Tara walked over and being careful not to be seen collected several samples and put them in her field kit and hid it again.

Walking back over to where the rest of the away team were Tara couldn’t help but laugh as she watched the antics of the kids as they ran and played. It was also a fair bet these people had never seen redheads or blondes as those on the away team who were redheads or blondes had drawn attention to their hair as had the blue or green eyes. Life here seemed peaceful. But was it?
