"You know you gave me a scare, I hated seeing you trapped in the chamber." Benjamin said, knowing they had a few moments alone, before the kids came home from school. He pulled her in close, to embrace her warmth and love.

Emma held him closely. "I was scared myself." She confessed, something she wouldn't admit to anyone else. "I saw my life flash in front of me, without you and the kids."

"We're you even tempted by the offer?" Benjamin asked, curiously. He know that she wouldn't give up on her family, but he was curious if she was at least tempted by it.

"No." Emma said with no thought at all. "There is no place I would rather be than here."

Benjamin smiled, as he pulled her close. He kissed her neck. Knowing they did not have a lot of time. "Just what I wanted to hear, darling."

"I think for a moment." Emma said with a sigh. "They thought about not giving me a choice but their programming has some moral ethic that would not allow it."

"I'm glad you chose to stay with us, the family needs you." Benjamin said with a warm smile on his face. "I can't imagine anyone wanting to take the offer the machine gave. I don't think I could handle being the father of an entire civilization." Benjamin said, trying to imagine the pressure of establishing that type of legacy.

"What about someone who doesn't want to be a parent?" Emma asked. "But wouldn't mind helping populate their world."

"That's kind of impossible, I want to talk you okay, my parents are coming to visit. And they want to see the grandchildren." Benjamin pointed out to her.

Emma smiled widely. "Oh, they will be so excited to see their grandparents." This was a down side to their careers. It was rare their children got to see family. "When will they arrive?"

"If all goes according to plan, tomorrow." Benjamin said, he was excited to see his parents, he was also a little nervous.

"Tomorrow!" Emma exclaimed. She shook her head. "I need to get ready for them!" She thought he meant in a week or possibly a month, not the next day.

"I am willing to help as well." Benjamin suggested to her.

"We need to clean." Emma said, thinking quickly. "And to make certain we have whatever they need to feel comfortable." She was worrying already. Her mother in law was the epitome of mothers. Emma loved her but always felt like she didn't quite measure up.

"You always stress over them coming, but if it makes you feel better we'll clean." Benjamin said with a warm smile on his face.

Emma laughed. "I get that from my mother. That is what she always said when my grandparents came to visit." She looked around. "The place looks fine."

"You say that, but were going to clean this place up, aren't we." Ben said, knowing his wife to well. He knew she would not be happy, unless it was spotless.

"Yes." Emma said with a smile. "I don't know why you put up with me and my pet peeves but I won't sleep unless things are one hundred percent."

Ben reached over and pulled her close, "I put up with you, because I love you and can not imagine my life without you." He said, as he pulled her in for a kiss.

Emma kissed him in return, hugging him close. She was so happy to be here right now with him and their children.

The scene starts to fade away. "We make a good team." He said, as they embrace one another.

"Yes we do." Emma murmured. She thought to herself that she wouldn't have it any other way.
