Cyndi after signing the last of the reports, closed her lap top walked from her ready room and onto the bridge. "Communications has the crew reported aboard?"

"Yes commodore everyone is aboard, all departments report ready," Came the reply,

Cyndi took her seat, "Signal the star base for clearance to depart." Cyndi ordered even though she knew it was already granted. Paul had seen to that.

"We're cleared to depart," communications reported a few minutes later.

"Secure all stations, helm retracted umbilical supports and prepare to take us out." Cyndi ordered as her crew hurried to carry out her orders. Once the ship was free of the docking clamps, Helm backed the ship from the star base and maneuvered through the space traffic. "Kalina take us back into the Palai System ahead warp four."
