Post Number 32 Meeting Command

Naudrel walked out of her quarters, heading to the nearest turbo lift,as she got in the turbo lift, she tapped her comm badge
"Commodore Cyndi song. I'm the new security officer Lt
Naudrel Varrial. where would you like to meet." Naudrel waited for the commodore to respond.

Cyndi tapped her comm-badge, "I'm in my ready room lieutenant,"

Naudrel tapped her comm badge."I'm on the turbo lift coming your way in the ready room."

"When you get here just come on in" Cyndi replied tapping her comm-badge as she set the picture of her husband and kids aside.

Naudrel reached the ready room,and rang its chimes,she just didn't want to just walk in.

"Come in," Cyndi called getting up from her desk and walking around it as she waited for her new officer.

Naudrel walked in. Greetings commodore I'm Lt Naudrel Varrial, I'm new security officer here ma'am."She said straightening herself.

"Welcome aboard lieutenant I heard I was getting a new security officer.," Cyndi said. "Please have a seat and do you have your transfer orders for me?"

Naudrel looked at her."Thank you ma'am,and heres my padd of my transfer orders."she said sitting down, she was a bit nervous,but tried not to be.

Cyndi took a seat at her desk and logged Naudrel aboard and active. Looking at the young woman she smiled., "Relax lieutenant I may look scary but I assure you. I don't bite. Now my kids may tell you otherwise. While we're docked at Starbase Danvers take the time to get to know the ship. Have you found your quarters yet and do you have any questions for me?" Cyndi asked.

Naudrel looked at the commodore ,"Yes I found them ,through the ships computer."She said feeling relaxed. "So how long have you had this ship?" She asked, since she said to ask questions to her. Is it ok to ask the ships computer for tea hot, with Basil in it. I love tea that way." Naudrel said.

"This ship about a year, it's brand new, She started out as a Galaxy Class and after an unforeseen incident I was give this Vesta Class. All together I've been in command of the Amandora for a little over four years. I commanded her before my promotion to commodore," Cyndi said "And yes help yourself to something to drink."

Naudrel helped herself to the ships computer to get a cup of tea."How interesting." She said to the Commodore. as she sat back down, to enjoy her tea. She was gonna ask another question but didn't want to get too personal.

"Interesting in what way?" Cyndi asked, "That I'm a commodore and still in command of a star ship? Trust me Starfleet would love for me to take a desk job.

"Interesting your in command as a commodore."She said."your story you said was interesting too." Naudrel said."I don't want to keep you from your duties." She said as she finished her tea,and waited to be dismissed.

"I' not ready to give up my command and sit at a desk or teach. I love what I'm doing. It's hard jugging a marriage and two kids but we manage. Your not keeping me from my duties. I'm heading to the star base to meet my husband. Your dismissed and make sure before we pull out again that you see Dr. Long for your boarding physical." Cyndi said,

She nodded,"Aye ma'am. enjoy your husband."she said as she got up and headed out of the ready room.
