Post Number 23 Meeting Up With A Friend

Kristian had been more than surprised to receive notice from Starfleet Command that she’d been re-assigned. It came with a promotion to assistant chief medical officer. After packing her quarters Kristian had boarded a shuttle for the long ride out to where her new assignment was. A Galaxy Class Starship. It was much larger than the Akira Class that she’d called home for a couple of years. After finding out what air lock the Amandora was docked at Kristian made her way toward the air lock.

Tara was heading back to the ship after working with the base science chief when she spotted a familiar figure. Walking over behind her “Kristian what are you doing here?” Tara asked reverting to their native language.

Turning to see who had spoken to her, seeing Tara, Kristian broke into a smile “I’ve been assigned to that ship out there,” Kristian said indicating the Amandora speaking in the Amazon language as well. “I’m going to be the ACMO. What are you doing here?”

“I’m the science chief,” Tara replied

“We’re going to be working together, something we’ve not done in years,” Kristian said as they headed for the air lock. “I need to report in with the CMO and then find the commodore.”

“You’ll like Doctor Bjorgo, he’s a good doctor, “ Tara assured her “When you get settled, meet with your boss and meet the commodore swing by my quarters so we can catch up.”

“That sounds wonderful,” Kristian said as they boarded the ship each going her own way.
