#10 A walkabout

ON:

Centurion Alona walked the corridors of the USS Amandora, her arms hanging loosely at her sides as she walked with a casual gait, with a bit of swagger and determination mixed in with each step. Now in her Romulan uniform, all the regalia being that of the Romulan Republic and Starfleet. She ahd even found her combadge sitting conveniently on her main room coffee table when she had stopped by her quarters to change from the Starfleet clothing. The computer ahd been informed that she would answer to the rank and title of centurion, and to lieutenant when situations called for it. Coming around a bend in the corridor Alona spotted three small groups of people, all in civilian attire, standing in the hallway and conversing.

~What in Five Elements is going on here?~ She thought to herself. ~Wait..nevermind. Ugh! The Galaxy class is one of a few classes in Starfleet that can carry civilians aboard, if they so choose to live aboard and follow Starfleet regulations. Great~ Alona rolled her eyes slightly before readjusting her stance and countenance as she moved forward, and towards, the small groups, a pleasant and charming expression on her face. Once she came in all of those in their groups broke off to introduce themselves (always so willing to divulge information), All smiling and welcoming her aboard (trusting, too) once they had asked why she wore another uniform, and it was explained. After a good fifteen minutes of that Alona was able to politely excuse herself and left the area as quickly as etiquette would allow. Having gathered her Starfleet combadge from Operations, Alona now wore it on her breast in a similar fashion to that of the Starfleet personnel. It allowed her access to all areas of the ship based on rank and position. She was now, truly, a department head aboard the USS Amandora. Time to go wander the Secondary Hull.
