Mission: Shake Down Cruise

After several days of getting personal aboard the Amandora was finally ready to begin her shakedown cruise. Getting up from her desk Cyndi walked onto the bridge and looked around at her officers and crew. “Communications put me on ship wide speakers,”

“You’re on captain,” Communications replied a few minutes later

“This is the captain, all departments prepare for launch. Any personal who are not assigned to this ship you need to be leaving. Engineering bring the engines online, standby warp drive. Helm release docking clamps, release all moorings.” Cyndi said taking the center seat for the first time.

“Docking clamps released, all moorings retracted. We’re floating free captain,” Helm replied

“Space dock reports all personal who are not assigned to the ship have left. We’re cleared for launch captain,” communications reported “Engine room reports impulse engines are ready, warp drive is on standby.”

“Helm take us out, aft thrusters,” Cyndi ordered

“Aye captain aft thrusters,” helm reported as the ship began to move, everyone on the bridge watched as the ship cleared space dock and the planets, the final planet passed moments later was Pluto (If that’s the wrong one let me know and I’ll edit it.)

“We’ve cleared the solar system, course?” helm asked turning to look at her “Our patrol sector is the Sagittarius Sector, increase to impulse and set course for that sector.”

“Accelerating to impulse,” helm reported “Impulse speed captain, course laid in.”

“Engage warp drive, ahead warp two, let her get her space legs before we go any faster,” Cyndi ordered leaning back in her seat, as the ship jumped to warp.
