Chrissy was sitting up on her biobed politely eating some breakfast, it seemed she’d had a visit from Amethyst earlier when she was still asleep, having been left a box of chocolates as a get well present. She’d woken feeling more like herself she wasn’t in as much discomfort as she had been, but she knew she’d still need time to fully recover.

Kristian walked over to where Chrissy was and checked the readings over her head and then ran several scans "How are you feeling?"

“Better, Thank you” Chrissy smiled warmly. “I was in quite a bit of discomfort but that’s down to a dull ache now and I can move easier. I haven’t had a chance to really speak to you until now, I wanted to say thank you for saving my life and that of my baby too.”

"There is no need to thank me, that's why I went to med-school," Kristian said "I can't give you anything to help with the pain due to the fact your pregnant so when I release you your going to have to take it easy for a few days. No lifting of anything over five pounds for a week. I know Amethyst is not going to be happy as I know you watch Flora but she's going to have to rely on the ship's daycare for a while."

“Amethyst will be fine” Chrissy smiled. “She has Will to help her own, plus other members of the crew have been kind enough to fill in at the nursery and school for me. I’ll do as you instruct, I have no plans to put myself or my baby at risk.”

"Good," Kristian responded "Captain Hurd will have guards on your quarters for the time being and I'm armed in here. Not something I like to do but it's necessary right now."

“Am I still in danger?” Chrissy looked at Kristian in surprise. “Kordell is dead isn’t he? There wasn’t anyone else involved that I saw.”

"Yes Kordell is dead, as for anyone else involved I don't know. I'll remain armed until the ship is underway and the general is off the ship," Kristian commented "But no I don't believe your in any further danger."

Chrissy smiled. “That’s good to hear. Is there any chance I can get out of here today? I’ll admit I’m finding it boring just sitting and lying around in here, at least at home I can relax and do what I like to do.”

"I'll release you, but your to take it easy for a few days. No lifting anything over five pounds. Amethyst is going to have to get someone to take care of Flora and you'll need a sub in the school for a week," Kristian said "If I catch you doing anything you shouldn't you'll be right back here."

Christina nodded. “That’s fine, Amethyst has Will and other parents have helped out with the school before. I’m sure it’ll all work out. I promise I’ll rest.”

"Then as long as I have your word your free to go, but I want to see you in a week," Kristian said

“You have my word and I’ll be here, that’s a promise” Christina smiled warmly.

"I'll see you then," Kristian said
