[Deck 04 - Jeffries Tube, Junction A-15]
Saunders had just about had it. He was mumbling swears, and he was overly taxed. His muscles had felt like they were on fire, after having had been crawling through the Amandora's Jeffries Tubes, sussing out some EPS tap that was time to be changed.
"For fracks sake!" He had his engineering kit, just then, open up from it's metallic lock and then splay out all his tools out into the middle of the Hallway.
"Absolute Hell..." He rubbed his face viciously. He didn't know what was bothering him lately. Oh, he had his ideas.
Archaeologist Ellie Kees was making her way along the corridor when she clatter of tools being dropped almost frightened her out of her skin. Looking around she turned a corner to find where the noise had come from. “Here ... let me help you.” She smiled warmly as she bent down to lend a hand.
Damien had been startled when he noticed someone, an officer, coming around the corner. An Engineer as himself, with tools splayed out across the carpeting of the Amandora's hallways. How embarrassing. Saunders was never to let a mess get the best of him.
"No!" Damien was jolting out of the recessed wall intake. He urged and then paused. Saunders closed his eyes and burst out into laughter. "This is a very bad day! I'm sorry you had to see this mess!" His eyes looked at the Officer, only to witness her extreme beauty in front of him.
What were months of fixing, attending broken components, Saunders had vexed out on any emotion? Any semblance of the nature of the women being onboard the Amandora. Sure, he had noticed great looking women onboard, yet he was still oblivious to care. Saunder's anxieties were getting the best of him, continually waiting, worrying about the next system error, requiring shutdowns, re-assignments, and reports to be completed on time. How could he let that all consume him?
"Holy shi-"… Damien had paused. He leaned back his stiff shoulders, suddenly being reminded. There were women on board! And this one… Who was she?! "Who are you?" Saunders blurted out.
Ellie smiled. “I’m Ellie Kees, I work in archaeology.” She picked up some tools that had strayed s little further across the deck and handed them back. “And you are?” She looked at Damian waiting for answer.
“You’re an Archaeologist. Fascinating…” He spoke, still watching Ellie. “Mrs. Kees.”
Damien had stood up and begun picking up his tools across the flooring. As he did, he could not help but catch a few glimpses of her body, her figure, and wow. She was smart. “It uh…” He scrambled. “I mean, it’s really nice to meet you.”
He then accepted the remaining tools from Mrs. Kees. “I oh yeah, you asked. I’m Damien.” He had smiled, relaxing around her. “You… Uh. Where are you off to Mrs. Kees?” He took his engineering kit, half cramming it shut, and then decided, without thinking, to sit back down on top of it from the section hatch entryway. “May I… Can I walk you there?” He cocked his head slightly, beguiled.
Ellie smiled warmly. “As I seem to have cheered you up, I don’t see why not” She nodded. “Oh and it’s Miss, not Mrs. I’m not married. It’s nice to meet you by the way Damien.”
"Of course," Damien had nodded. "So, where are we headed?" He had bit his lower lip, damn!
“Actually I was just heading back to my quarters for lunch” Ellie smiled. “Would you care to join me? I always end up eating alone so it would be nice to have someone to share it with.”
"Certain." Saunders nodded heartily, before calming his self down a bit. "I.. Uh you want me to bring anything?" He thought he'd be a gentleman.
“Oh .. no it’s fine.” Ellie smiled warmly. “I just grab something from the replicator.”
Arriving at Kees quarters, Damian had sat his engineering kit down on the side of her entrance. "Wow.. You have a nice quarters." He had looked around, interested, before turning back to see Ellie. "Thank you for asking me.." He had looked at Kees.
“Well it’s the least I could do for someone whose having a rotten day.” Ellie smiled warmly. “Besides, you’re the first guy whose actually noticed me for me, not for my scientific duties!”
"Uh.. What?" He almost burst into laughter. "You mean... Your kidding. Your a talented Archaeologist, I am sure. "What can I get you to eat?" He gestured to her replicator. "At least let me serve you..." Or more? He thought a split second. How could anyone not find Ellie a breath of fresh air to any room on this stuffy ship!
“Oh? What kind of more would that be?” Ellie grinned as she moved closer, she didn’t normally pay that much attention to guys whilst working but now she was alone with Damian she couldn’t help but feel attracted. He was paying her all the right kind of notice.
Saunders had chuckled. "We could skip lunch..." He smiled. "Or we could get some exercise in your bedroom?" He narrowed his eyebrow with a cocky grin. Maybe she wasn't hungry for food, and nor would he be.
Ellie grinned. “I like your way of thinking.” She walked over to him and wrapped her arms around his neck, giving Damian a very steamy kiss.
Damien had closed his eyes, enjoying the sensual kiss. He continued in return, placing his hand around the waist of Kees, pulling her close to him as he did. He grunted, as he began an even more impassioned kiss in return.
As doing so, he gently walked her towards her bedroom, as his hands and gently felt up her curvatures.
Ellie responded to every move, willingly accompanying Damien to his bedroom helping him off with his uniform as they went leaving a trail of clothing.
Saunders immediately paid close attention to every detail of Ellie's now unsheathed, unclothed creation of beauty... Where did she come from? Now she was in his quarters willing to sleep with him? He didn't waste time questioning.
Laying Ellie across his bed, as he leaned over her, laying kisses across her naked chest and body, paying attention to her slender thighs with his hands, and loving to bring her to sighs as Saunders took a whole new form of worship... To Ellie.
~ Some time later ~
Ellie lay under the bedsheet intertwined with Damien. Her head resting on his shoulder. “You do realise I d9nt make a habit of getting into bed with every man I meet” she grinned. “I just ... felt a connection to you, there’s something about you that I can’t resist!”
Saunders had laughed. "Ok." He shook his head, still in a whirlwind of having met Ellie seemingly out of nowheres. "That's the first time that's /ever/ been said to me!"
He then traced the gentle lines of her face with his index finger before stopping. "Yeah, it's probably the cologne I wear. I swear it has to be that." He shrugged, none the less feeling extremely lucky to find someone come along like Kees.
"So. You’re an Archaeologist? That's fascinating." He didn't know where to begin. "What.. What have you been studying lately?" He always assumed Archaeologists had run along in some planetary chase, in a sort of Raiders of the Lost Arc fashion.
Ellie grinned. “I’ve done that before! More than once actually! I’m no tomb raider but I do enjoy finding hidden treasures and in archaeology that’s not jewels and stuff like that. It’s ancient tools or equipment or simply evidence of ancient civilisations. At present we’re hoping to learn more about this new culture we’re on our way to see, thats if they permit us access of course.”
"No way..." Saunders grinned in total interest. "That.. I used to pretend I was an archaeologist as a child. I'd search the limestone and pretend I'd find a dinosaur, that nobody had ever found before!" He chuckled.
Saunders kissed Ellie's hand and then held it playing with his fingers into hers holding them upward as he watched, relaxed, totally spent now... In such clarity.
"Please..... Take me with you! Sometime... Some mission you go to seek something... I promise. I'd not be in the way. I'd just really find what you do fascinating." He looked at Kees soft, slender hand in his.
Ellie smiled. “Well it does tend to get pretty lonely sometimes, it’d be nice to have you to cuddle up with on the cold nights!” She grinned a wry grin.
"That would be fun. We could even do something on the holodeck like that?" He proposed. "I've been told by the Counsellor, and the Doctor that I have to start learning to relax..." He had furrowed a brow. "I find /this/ the most relaxing if you ask me." He leaned again and placed a nice soft 'thank you' kiss to Ellie's tender lips. Damien smiled.
Ellie returned his kiss, gently and with tender care. “I wasn’t looking for love but you’ve shown me that it’s something I’ve been needing.” Her fingers traced over his skin. “I don’t want this to be a one night stand, I’d like to see you again.”
"I don't know what I was looking for. For a long time on this ship, I felt lost." He spoke in return to Ellie. "I know now, that I was here to meet you. I don't want this to be a forgotten night... Not at all." He relaxed back into the bed, enjoying being beside Kees.
