Mission: Shake Down Cruise
Location: Aloran family Quarters

Amethyst opened her eyes, she could have sworn the whole night before was some mad passionate dream. She smiled as she found herself still wrapped lovingly in Will’s arms and his ring was still firmly on her finger. She raised her head enough to check the time finding it was only 0600 hrs, Kal wouldn’t be up for at least another hour. She gently lay her head back on Will’s shoulder trying not to disturb his sleep.

" Must have...water, " Will joked. " I even dreamed about you Amethyst. Is this real? Pinch me."

Amethyst grinned and playfully pinched him, followed by a romantic kiss. “Does that prove it’s all real?” She grinned. “We got engaged last night, amongst other things!”

" Keep this up and Kal will have a little brother. I am starved and have to be on the bridge by 0700. More shake downs and meetings." replied Will.

“Mmm in that case let’s get some food.” She grinned as she sat up. “Oh and be careful what you wish for, it might just happen!” She slid out of bed and headed for the bathroom to grab a shower.

When she was done Will and Kal were resting together and Kal looked to mommy.

"Mummy, I am the best man...for Daddy." Kal told her.

“Oh is that so?” Amethyst grinned as she looked at both of them. “Looks like the two of you have been plotting while I’ve been in the shower!” She looked at Will. “Think yourself lucky Kal isn’t normally out of bed until after 7am, I guess he was excited to see if Daddy was still here!”

Kal nodded and grinned. “Is daddy staying with us all the nights Mummy?”

Amethyst looked at Will with a grin. “Once we’re married he will be, up until then it’s up to Daddy to decide. He is the First Officer of this ship remember?”

Kal looked at his father. “Will you Daddy?”

" As much as I can little man. Maybe later we can go to the holodeck. Have you ever been fishing?" Will replied.

Kal shook his head and looked at his mother.

“How’s about you go with Daddy after work today? Chrissy will be here to look after you when we go to work, once we get back the two of you can go to the holodeck together and enjoy yourselves.” Amethyst smiled warmly as she looked at Will.

" Mums right. We will catch a whopper." replied Will.

Amethyst couldn’t help but grin. “Right young man, go and get your clothes on while I get breakfast ready for all of us.” She finished dressing and brushed her hair, giving Will a big smile as she did so.

" I will be in engineering today if needed." Will told Amethyst. His mind switching to his job and work load ahead.

“I’ll be busy in my office sorting out an evaluations schedule and starting appointments.” She smiled as she turned to look at him. “How’s about we meet up for lunch? Let me know when you’re free and I’ll join you.”

" Yes to lunch. Be gentle with our crew. Some may not be able to handle your...feminine wilds." Will teased.

“Oh don’t worry my love, those are only for you!” She stepped across to him and kissed him before peeling herself away. “Must get breakfast, but just you wait until tonight!” She grinned a wry grin. “I might just get you working on that little brother or sister.”

Will smiled but his imagination was configuring the what ifs of her joking. He just met Kal what if he sucked at being a father?

Will kissed Amethyst neck and then went to check in on Kal all the time looking back at her.

Heading into the living area Amethyst set out some breakfast items to choose from before sitting down to eat hers. “Hey you two! Breakfast is ready”
