The day arrived that this away team had hoped for as the runabout Little River touched down. Piloted by Ensign Kyoto, Will asked to board followed by Urma, Kees and Onvoy Kodos.

" Have a seat folks. We have a long ride ahead." Will told them.

Kodos smiled at everyone as all of this was new to him.

Elle took her seat next to Kodos, she was glad he was coming along with them. In the short time she’d known Kodos they’d become very close.

" I am so very excited Ellie. This is all do new to me, please don't leave me." Kodos told her.

“I won’t I promise” Ellie gently placed her hand on his offering a warm smile. “Wait until you see your quarters aboard ship.”

" When I was a boy we took a skiff to the ocean and watched large koffle fish dump up and eat the low flying gofferts. But this is even more exciting that that." Kodos added.

" Kodos the Amandora is like a city in space. We can travel faster than...we are now." Will added.

He soon watched as Kodos kissed Ellie again and envied their young love. Thinking if his own wife and children Will tapped the console in the hope the runabout had transwarp powers.

Urma used the time to sleep as they headed back home to the ship.

" Sir we are with in hailing range if the Amandora," Kyoto told him.

" Runabout Little River to Amandora we are enroute. Thanks for the pickup." Will said aloud.

[ Little River this is Amandora acknowledged,] the voice of Suvak replied

"Commodore we're getting a transmission from Commander Raymond," communications announced

"On screen," Cyndi ordered, seeing her first officer she breathed a sigh of relief "Commander how far out are you and it's good to see you again."

[ We are 1/2 a parsec out at warp one. We should be home for supper.] Will replied.

"Land in shuttle bay two when you arrive. I'll want a briefing in my quarters when you land, Lieutenant Herculoid arrived injured so I'm needing answers," Cyndi said.
