After the briefing James entered his Office to take a look at the specs on the Romulan cloaking which Lieutenant McKeon had so graciously supplied him with.

James grabbed himself a cup of coffee from the replicator then sat at his desk as he keyed in his security code on his terminal. James navigated to the needed file and brought it up.

As James started going over the data he thought to himself "Now we'll see if my studies in the Space Sciences was worth the time and effort." He carefully started going over the data looking for any weaknesses in their cloaking algorithms that could be used to their advantage.

After a couple of hours of careful research James needed a break. Another cup of coffee was in order; as he turned around he saw a lovely face "Hey Babe, whatcha up to " Heather whispered so she wouldn't be overheard while flashing a smile.

"Hi Heather, this is a nice surprise. I'm going over some cloaking data that I was sent to find any weaknesses which we can use to our advantage" James relied.

"Any luck" she asked.

"Not yet, but hopefully I'll find something soon" he said "So what are you up to."

"I finally finished going over all of the samples from Savai that were brought back from the away mission; now I'll see if Tara has anything that she needs done. I'll let you get back to your research; so I'll see you at home" Heather said.

"Ok sweetheart, I'll see you at home shortly; thanks for stopping by, it was just what I needed" James replied. Heather smiled as she turned and went back to the Lab.

James went back to his research for the next couple of hours when he came across a possible weakness in the cloaking. Upon further investigation James figured out how to come up with an algorithm that would help detect a Romulan ship when it's cloaked by measuring the spacial distortion around their ship.

It was getting late so James decided to pack it in for the day. Tomorrow he would write the algorithm needed to go along with the sensor scans.
