Heather walked into the Main Lab to start her day which would consist of re-calibrating both Molecular Microscopes; something that was overdue.

Heather removed the protective cover from both Microscopes and turned them on to allow them to warm up before proceeding. She looked up seeing Tara in her office busy at work with her PADD.

After several minutes of warm up she was ready to start the process.

Grabbing a specialized PADD Heather started scanning the first Microscope. She found that the tolerances were well outside of proper Parameters.

Heather started keying in some commands into the PADD to bring the Microscope back into the proper Parameters. As she was working she noticed one of the plant cabinets and how well the green squash plant was doing with the addition of the compound that she had made up from the plants from Savai. Heather went back to what she was working on figuring she would examine the plant later. Finally the Microscope was brought back into the proper parameters so that any work would now be much more accurate.

Checking the time Heather realized that the first microscope took far longer than she had figured on. So now it was time to move onto the second one.

The second Microscope was some easier to get right compared to the first one. After getting it back into the proper parameters Heather shut both off to cool down before covering them back up.

She took the opportunity to examine the green squash plant. After taking it out of the cabinet she measured the plant to compare to her previous exam. To her delight it had grown about twenty five percent bigger than two weeks ago and was starting to blossom. The more blossoms then the more vegetables it would produce. The thought of the possibilities this would afford was very exciting. Heather would continue with the experiment through the fruit bearing process just to see how more productive the cycle would be.

After she was finished she returned the plant back to the cabinet then proceeded to cover the now cool Microscopes.

Checking the time Heather realized that her shift was nearly over so she returned the PADD to it's proper location and cleaned up the area.

Now her mind turned to what to have for dinner as she left the Lab and made her way back home. Time to make something different for dinner, but something that she knew James would like.
