After being stuck at the Station for the past few days James and Heather were actually eager to get back to the Ship when his Comm went off " Lieutenant McTavish this is the Transporter Room, you're cleared to return to the Ship at your convenience."

"Good, we'll contact you when we're ready" James replied. Tuning to Heather "You ready to go back home now?"

"Yes I am....as much as I enjoy shore leave....being stuck here is not my idea of fun" she commented "Let me get my things together then I'll be ready to leave.

The couple put their few things in a bag and were soon ready to depart Mars Station. They went to the Front Desk of the hotel and checked out then walked out into the Station.

Tapping his Comm "Transporter Room, this is Lieutenant McTavish, two to beam back to the Ship" James said. The couple vanished from sight.

The couple walked into their home and James set the bag on the floor by the couch as Heather sat. James commented "I don't know about you but I could sure use a drink."

"Now that sounds like a great idea" she replied. So James poured each of them a whiskey and sat beside Heather and handed her a drink.

James put his feet up on the coffee table and sipped his whiskey "At last, we're back home where we belong." Heather just nodded in agreement.
