OFF: I'm posting as Narla Long

Narla after getting settled in the VIP quarters wanted to see her daughter. It had been over six months since they’d last seen each other. Knowing the layout of the ship Narla dressed in jeans, tank top and tennis shoes headed for sick bay. Walking in and finding out Kristian was in her office in the back of sick bay headed to the ACMO’s office. “Busy?”

Kristian looked up from the chart she’d been updating and nearly jumped over her desk when she saw her mother, hugging her tightly for several minutes “The commodore told us you were aboard and outside of her there are only four who know.”

“I stressed that, I don’t want anyone outside you, Tara or Alesha to know other than the commodore and her first officer. I have my reasons for this,” Narla said “I’m also sure you three have your orders where I’m concerned and my seeing you.”

“We do mum, we’re not to see you at the same time, not to go near the VIP quarters and in public not to speak in our native language and I don’t think I should call you mum and Tara shouldn’t call you aunt in public,” Kristian said “I’ll tell you what, we’re not to break our routines but for the three of us it’s normal for us to go to one of our quarters at times for dinner. Why don’t you come to mine later and I’ll have Tara and Alesha there then we can catch up without drawing attention. I’ll make dinner and we can set Alesha straight, she still says she’s not family and I know Marlaina has told her the truth.”

Narla nodded “She did and I’ll set her straight. I better get going, I’ll see you in your quarters later. I love you.” With that Narla headed out of sick bay

Later Tara and Alesha are in Kristian's quarters both are puzzled as to why the table is set for four when there is only three of them.

"So Krisitan who else is coming?" Alesha asked accepting a drink from Kristian

"Me," Narla said walking into the room "Since it's hard for us to see each other until I let the major know I'm here and I wanted to see my family this is the easiest way as my daughter said it's normal for the three of you to meet in your quarters. Alesha, you and I need to talk later."

"Aunt Narla," Tara squealed as she hugged her aunt "I'm glad to see you."

"Dinner's ready," Kristian said from the kitchen

The four of them enjoyed dinner and caught up on things with Narla explaining to Alesha why she was family and not to think of herself as not being family anymore.

"So the stories mum told me are true? My real dad is the King's nephew? I thought mum made that up," Alesha commented

"It's true, Alesha," Tara said "Sourjen was not a nice man, Kalief adopted you when you were two. He's the only dad you've ever known and the only one you ever will know. He adores you."

"So as you can see your related to all of us and we'd not have it any other way," Narla said

They continued to catch up for several more hours.

"I need to get some sleep, I've had a long day and a long flight out here. We'll do this again," Nalra said hugging each of them in turn before heading out making sure she was not seen.

"I think we all need some rest," Tara said

"With our assignment I need to be on my toes and ready for anything the commodore gets us into," Alesha said as she looked at Tara and Kristian "I need to let this all sink in."

"You have any more questions let me know," Tara said

They said good night and Tara and Alesha headed out
