Murdoch was still reeling about Alesha's stunt but knew it was because he had feelings for her. Were it a man he would probably have applauded the dude's actions.

" Thirman to Rivers?"

Tapping her com-badge "Rivers go ahead Thirman,"

" I need to talk to you. Do you have a moment?"

"I'm in my quarters feel free to come over," Alesha responded.

Quarters? The last thing he had considered was going to her quarters.

" Okay I am on my way."

< Rivers Quarters >

Tapping her chime Murdoch waited for Alesha's response.

Alesha put the book down she'd been reading and walked over to the door, palmed the sensor and stepped back to let Thirman in. "Have a seat, can I offer you something to drink?"

" No I'll be quick. I want to apologize for getting out of shape. I let my attraction for you get in the way if my duty. If you was a dude this would never have happened but beings that...well you know...I think for now I'll just go back to being your wing man so to speak." Thirman declared.

"No need to apologize," Alesha said "I appreciate your concern for my safety. Yes I took a risk but on duty we're equals, off duty is a different story. I knew I could take those ships. I'll let you in on something, I've never been through Starfleet. What I know I learned on the fly as they say. My dad is a Starfleet Officer. Dad taught me a lot as did General Long, Tara and Kristian. Narla really grilled me. As for feelings for me, if you want to pursue a relationship with me I'm open to it. I think your cute. Just know I'm a little bit of a daredevil, but I know when I'm out gunned and when to back down."

Murdoch smiled and then laid in and scooped her into his arms and kissed her. " Woman I been wanting to do that since my first day. Scoot over..."

Alesha returned the kiss "Then why didn't you?"

" Because I was a Warrant Officer and you are the Chief." Murdoch replied. Kissing her some more he moved to her neck.

"And that matters?" Alesha asked pulling his head back as she deepened the kiss. Her hands running her fingers through his hair as she pressed her body closer to his.

" This is about to get real here now girl. Don't be playin with me ..." Murdoch warned.

"Who's playing?" Alesha asked taking his hand and leading him to her bedroom "You sure you want to do this?" she asked kissing him

" I shoot first and ask questions later." Murdoch replied as he walked with her.

Alesha smiled as she leaned in and kissed him again. "Computer dim lights." she looked into Thirman's eyes "If your sure this is what you want as I am."

" Lady I am about to rock your world and send you to infinity ...and beyond." Murdoch said with a wink and nose shrug.

Fades to gray....

Alesha snuggled next to Thirman enjoying the afterglow. She'd never felt so compete. Pulling the blankets over them she drifted off to sleep.

Thirman couldn't exactly sleep as it had been a while since he had enjoyed a woman's company let along his superior officers. As adults this would be their secret , he concluded.

Alesha didn't know how long she'd slept, waking up she felt Thirman's arm around her and smiled "How long did I sleep?"

" About an hour and a half. Say I could go for a snack ? Want some popcorn?" Thirman asked.

"Popcorn?" Alesha asked "What's that? But I'll gladly try it."

Murdoch replicated the delicacy but alas it was not as good as the type he had eaten in the past. Adding some chocolate to the palate he returned with the snack.

" Best after lovin snack ever unless you want something else?" Thirman teased.

"You," Alesha winked as she took a piece and popped it in her mouth "This is good, we don't have this where I come from."

" Corn is a versatile vegetable. It will make you a sexual tyranasaurus." Murdoch joked.


"I like the sounds of that and this is divine," Alesha said popping a handful in her mouth."

Alesha was a woman in all sense, Murdoch observed.

" So we need a code word for this."

"How about pop corn?" Alesha asked "That shouldn't draw attention."

" I love it Alesha....popcorn it is." Murdoch replied almost choking on his popcorn hull.
