Mission:
The Forgotten Children
Location: Sick Bay
Timeline: Current
ON:
Kristian had finished her work on the planet and was deeply saddened by what she’d seen and heard. Most of the people there were unhappy and had been treated very badly. There were the few who had well adjusted to life on the planet despite the harsh conditions and had even married, some to other Cardassians and some to the Jem Hadar. There were children and even though it was not supposed to happen there was Jem Hadar/Cardassidan children. The village Kristian had beamed down to most were happy. Some had commented about wanting to leave should the situation ever happen.
Tapping her com-badge Kristian returned to the ship and headed for sickbay to get her own face back. Once that was done she changed back into her uniform and tossed the Cardassian outfit into the reclaimer and had just walked into her office to begin her report for the commodore when the doors to sick bay opened. Getting up from her desk Long walked out into sick bay to see who had entered and what they needed. Seeing her cousin Kristian grinned “I assume you’re here to get your own face back?”
“I sure am,” Tara said taking a seat on a nearby bio bed.”
“I’ll be right back,” Kristian replied as she walked over to a nearby closet and returned a few minutes later with the right equipment. Setting to work “Okay that’s it your back to normal.”
Tara picked up a mirror and looked at her reflection and smiled, hopping off the bio bed she hugged her cousin “Let’s get together later and compare notes. I’ve got some samples and tests to run. I’m also eager to find out what you’ve uncovered too.”
“Give me a few hours, I was just starting on my report for the commodore then I’m going to meet mum for dinner,” Kristian answered
“Sounds good to me to. I’ve got a lot of work to do, but right now I just want a shower to rinse off all that dust from the planet,” Tara said as she headed out.
