Post Number 1 A Surprise For Cyndi

OFF:

This will end the mission, thank you Ray for the mission. I’m sorry it wasn’t better received. Numbers will revert back to One. New mission will be up after the first of the year.

ON:

After crippling the Jem Hadar ship, the last of the away team aboard. Several Cardassian’s had requested asylum and Cyndi was bound to grant it. After taking them to Cardassia Prime, course was set for The Planet Pegasus.

Paul had joined Cyndi on the bridge as the ship settled into orbit of the planet.
“Communications open ship wide communications,” Cyndi ordered .

“You’re on commodore,” communications announced a few minutes later.

“All hands this is the commodore, we’re now in orbit of the planet Pegasus for some shore leave, standard shore leave rotation are in effect. The planet has a lot to offer so enjoy your time here. We’ll be in orbit for roughly two weeks.”

“How soon do you want to leave the ship?” Paul asked

“As soon as everything is settled aboard ship, I feel like I’ve neglected you as of late and I need to remedy that,” Cyndi said “I’ve booked a small house on the planet to stay in for a few days and still be close enough for the ship.”

“Well I have a surprise for you too,” Paul said getting to his feet and walking into the conference room and returned seconds later with a excited three year old who seeing his mother jerked his hand away from his dad and ran as fast as he could to Cyndi and climbed on her lap hugging her tightly.

“Paul? How did you pull this off?” Cyndi asked hugging her son

“I have my ways,” Paul said “You finish here and we’ll be waiting in our quarters, come on Brent mummy has some work to finish then she’ll be down to see you.” Paul picked up their son and headed off the bridge knowing he’d just broken about thirty regulations but considering Paul knew nothing would be said.

It didn’t take Cyndi long to finish what she had to do and after contacting Paul agreed to meet him and Brent in ten forward for a bite to eat and some catching up.

Paul and Brent walked into ten forward a few minutes later and joined Cyndi at the table.
