Mission: Kidnapped
Location: Cyndi’s cell

With their captive safely back inside a cell Lia made her way to the cells to check on the unfortunate Princess. As much as she loved Usher there were times when he was ruthless, but she wasn’t going to get in his way when he was this close to his goal. She paused outside the cell doing a visual inspection.

Cyndi didn't know how long she'd slept, hearing footsteps and then stopping outside her cell opened he eyes to find Lia looking at her "Why are you doing this?" Cyndi asked.

“I’m not doing anything, I’m simply following orders like everyone else.” Lia looked Cyndi over from afar. “How are you feeling? It’s up to me to keep you alive, and in good condition ready for your sale.”

"How am I feeling? Bloody good question to ask me after I've been tortured and stunned repeatedly and now chained to a wall. Now I hear from the guards that I'm to be sold as a slave, I'll never see my husband or little boy again, he'll grow up without me, and you ask how I'm feeling?" Cyndi asked "How would you feel?"

Lia bit back the urge to give a bitter remark. “At least you have a family! Mine were murdered, my parents, my husband, and my daughter!! I had nothing until Usher found me!” She said nothing more just tapped the comms. “Lia to doc, our prisoner needs medical attention, we need her in tip top shape ready for her sale.” She looked back at Cyndi. “You were the one who tried to escape.”

"I had nothing to do with any of that," Cyndi retorted reverting to the Klavorian language to see if Lia was indeed Klavorian "Yes I tried to escape, and just for the record even if I were to give the codes to the Palace and to the Defense system, by now my parents know I've been taken and the codes have been changed. I don't even know them. There is no Republican Guard, that went away when my grandfather was in power. Usher is making that up and I don't need to see your doctor, I don't trust him. Return me to my ship and my doctors will treat me."

“You will be checked over by the doctor, feel free to refuse treatment it’s your choice!” Lia nodded. “Ohh I’m not Klavorian but I know enough of your language to understand you. I’m not here to pity you, just to check on you.”

"I refuse treatment, and I didn't think you were Klavorian," Cyndi said reverting back to standard and I don't want your pity. I want to return to my ship. You return me and I can look into your claims. You know as well as I do there is no Republican Guard. Usher isn't Klavorian either."

“I can’t help you Captain” Lia sighed. “I won’t betray Usher.”

"You can let me go, come with me and I'll help you. You remember how you felt when your husband and daughter were killed? Think of my husband and little boy who won't know what happened to me," Cyndi responded

Lia shook her head. “I’m not losing another man I love, my heart is here and here is where I stay no matter what! You’d best prepare yourself Princess, you’re about to become someone’s property for the rest of your days.”

"Does he love you? Or are you just being used? Think about it, you let me go, your a pretty girl you'll find someone who is not as mean as Usher. My ship gets here in time my marines and security will stop at nothing to get me back. Are you prepared to die alongside him as trust me they will kill him. You've kidnapped a Federation Flag Officer and I carry a lot of weight. Know this, no man but my husband will ever touch me that way. I'll kill anyone who tries," Cyndi remarked

Lia looked annoyed. “Usher isn’t mean, and don’t pretend you know anything about him or me! I’ll be at his side until hell freezes over, he’s not planning on dying, and neither am I. If your ship comes for you, we’ll destroy any who come for you, and you’ll lose your crew as well.”

Cyndi laughed "This ship is no match for mine and you know Usher is mean, you saw what he was doing to me and at one point you walked away. If we're heading to where I think we are my own planet will step in as well with a fleet of ships you cannot imagine. This ship is no match for a Galaxy Class Star Ship let alone the Klavorian Army that will be dispatched. Let me go and I'll forget I've seen you. Continue to hold me and you'll die. You don't know my crew, they'll stop at nothing to get me back."

Lia shook her head. “You’re getting desperate Captain, that tells me we’re on the right track.” She turned to leave. “Don’t go anywhere will you!” She grinned and headed on her way.
