Kidnapped
Location: Quarters

ON:
Paul was feeling helpless as he had no way of helping Cyndi and had no idea what was happening to her. Talk on the ship's grapevine revealed that the ship she was being held on was in orbit near Klavor and the planet was one where slave trading was going on. To say he was nervous was an understatement.
Arriving at Cyndi’s Quarters T’Mia pressed the chime, she could sense the emotion coming from inside just standing outside the door.
Setting his drink down, Paul tossed the blanket aside, got up and headed for the door, he was really not in the mood for another crew member of Cyndi's. Palming the door sensor it opened to see the counselor standing there. She was one of the few he'd talk to. "Good morning," Paul greeted stepping back to let her in.
“Good morning” T’Mia offered a polite smile as she stepped inside. “I hope I’m not intruding? I came to see how you’re coping with Cyndi’s disappearance.”
"Your not intruding," Paul said "Please have a seat," he walked over to the couch, picked up the blanket and pillow, walked to he bedroom and tossed it on the bed. Returned to the living room and took a seat. "I'm coping, I feel helpless. I'm trusting her command staff."
T’Mia nodded. “They’re working on finding her as we speak, everyone knows their jobs you can trust them.” She offered a warmer smile.
"I know they are, you don't know how badly I want to go to the bridge and offer any assistance I can. But I also know I'm too close to the situation and Commander Kahn is in command," Paul commented "I've had a command and I know how it works. Cyndi means everything to me, I chased that girl for three years before she finally agreed to marry me."
T’Mia smiled warmly. “She sounds like a lucky woman. I can only imagine how hard it must be just sitting here waiting for news. I wouldn’t blame you if you were asking for updates every two minutes.”
"I'm the lucky one, she's an amazing woman and I'm glad she finally said yes," Paul said "I thought about asking for updates but I also understand that the commander is busy and I fully know well the demands of being in command. Anything happens to her I'll have to raise our son alone. We were talking about giving him a brother or a sister."
“Really? That’s wonderful.” T’Mia smiled warmly. “Is there...any chance that Cyndi might be pregnant already? I’m just wondering incase it’s something the doctor should know about.”
"If she is I don't know, she's not said anything to me " Paul replied "We're not trying, if she is that would be fantastic. I guess I'll find out when she's back."
T’Mia nodded. “Okay I just thought I’d check on that one. To be honest I haven’t known Cyndi very long, in-fact I haven’t known any of you very long. I plan to change that.”
"Cyndi is a private, stubborn person," Paul said
T’Mia nodded. “I’m not surprised. There’s nothing wrong with that.”
Paul grinned for the first time since Cyndi had been taken "You don't know my wife. She has an attitude and has been warned about it many times."
T’Mia grinned. “I’m willing to bet she’s giving her captors hell. Let’s just hope she’s not getting herself into more trouble.”
"I'm sure she's giving them hell, and I fear knowing Cyndi as well as I do she's paying for it too," Paul said "I'm not sleeping in our bed until she's back. I'll sleep on the couch or in a chair until my wife is back."
T’Mia nodded understandingly. “I’ll keep you appraised of what’s happening, I would say we’ll get her back soon but I can’t promise that, and it would be unfair to do that.”
"I know you can't promise me anything. I have to trust Commander Kahn to get her back. I promised her parents I'd keep them updated too and I have nothing to tell them either," Paul said "Anything happens to her...."
T’Mia nodded. “I know...no matter what I’ll be here to support you.” She offered a smile.
"Thank you, but anything happens to her I'm contacting her parents for a ship and go to Klavor to raise our son and one day tell him about his mother," Paul replied "He'll be King one day."
T’Mia nodded. “He couldn’t have a better father, or mother. He’s a lucky boy.”
Paul smiled "He looks like Cyndi, I just hope he's not inherited his mother's attitude."
T’Mia grinned. “He has traits from you both, fingers crossed it’s the best of both of you.”
"Fingers crossed that's the case. He's only five so we have time " Paul said.
“Fingers crossed he’ll have his mummy home safe soon” T’Mia smiled as she rose from her seat. “Stay strong.”
Paul stood as well "I'm trying lieutenant "
“I know you are Sir” T’Mia nodded before moving towards the door. “I’ll check in on you another time.”
"Thank you " Paul said walking her to the door
“My pleasure Sir.” T’Mia nodded before stepping out and heading on her way.
