Amos walked into his quarters quietly, Cyndi was still asleep and that concerned him. Something was not right where she was concerned; walking over to the bed he placed a hand on her forehead. She was burning up, the blanket he’d covered her with was soaked in sweat. Tossing it into the reclaimer Amos scratched his head as to what to do. Her ship needed to get here soon. Turning to his dresser he rummaged through it and found something for her to wear. It was pair of what some women would call it baby doll pajamas. While not his first choice. After trying to get her to wake up only to hear her moan. Amos knew he’d need a cold shower after this.

“Well here goes,” Amos said picking up the baby doll pajamas he took a seat on the edge of the bed and carefully changed her from the overall’s he given her to put on while in her cell in order to help her escape. Putting on the baby doll’s on her taking care not to touch her anymore than he had to. Getting up he walked back to the dresser and returned with a clean blanket. Picking up her arms he put them under the blanket but not before he got a good look at not only her wrists but her chest and stomach too “Princess what has he done to you? Your ship has to get here soon. Rest and I’ll be back,” with that he turned and walked from his quarters.

Leaning against the bulkhead Amos closed his eyes and took a deep breath, Usher was livid that she was missing and no one knew where she was and that was not making him happy. Usher hadn’t yet found out that the transponder was now signaling SOS. Grinning at that thought Amos glanced back at his quarters where Usher’s hostage was sleeping, now to keep him from finding her and getting a hold of Bishop to come look at her. The Amandora had to get here before it was too late for her.

One final look at his quarters Amos then headed on his way to carry on his duties.
