Kidnapped
Location: Planet Glintok
Timeline: Current
ON:
Once the shackles were removed, the guards left and locked the door. For the first time since this whole ordeal had started Cyndi had lost hope. Usher had sold her and had left, with it went the SOS transponder code she’d rigged. As long as she’d been on Usher’s ship there had been hope. But now on this planet, locked in a room and the planet marked DO NOT APPROACH Cyndi was sure her fate was sealed. Feeling dirty from the leering eyes on not only Usher’s ship but by this man who informed her he now owned her. Fighting to keep the tears from falling Cyndi walked to the closet to find something to put on. After rummaging through it she smiled as not all the things in there were meant for leering eyes. Finding a skirt that was pale green with a floral print on it and a matching top. Pulling them out, Cyndi went to the dresser and found various sizes of undergarments, none of which were her size. After finding things as close to her size as she could walked to the bathroom and took a quick shower and changed into the skirt and top she’d found. The skirt fell just past her knees.
Amos had walked a short distance off and had watched the goings on, he knew Bishop having been here before. Headed to the heart of town and secured a place to stay making sure it had two bedrooms. He’d have to find employment and keep Cyndi safe until help arrived.
Once the place to stay was secured his next move was to procure two phasers, one for him and one for Cyndi. Everything took a few hours and he knew he had to act fast as knowing Bishop there was already someone waiting for her. Pocketing the two phasers Amos headed off to Bishop’s place. Keeping to the shadows he overheard two of the guards talking about where Bishop’s new woman was. “She a looker?” Amos asked coming out of the shadows.
“Hey Amos, that she is. Bishop already has someone lined up for her. She’s a feisty one that’s for sure, as feisty as that red hair of hers and he paid a big price for her. Only been here a few hours,” Ted said
“We’ve got some rounds to make, good seeing you again Amos, let’s meet for drinks sometime soon,” Mark suggested
“If I’m still here, I’m between jobs currently. I’ll let you know,” Amos said as they headed off, Sighing in relief and knowing what room Cyndi was in made his way there.
Cyndi had torn up the overalls and had wrapped the strips around her wrists and ankles, the bleeding had started again. Hearing someone outside her door, Cyndi broke out in a cold sweat as to what was coming next. Getting up she cringed against the back wall.
Amos opened the door, seeing Cyndi cringing at the back wall ran to her “We don’t have much time, I’ve got a place where we can stay until your ship comes. But we have to go now!”
Cyndi walked over to him, “Please tell me it’s not far,”
“A few miles, we have to hurry,” Amos said taking her hand “Stay with me,”
They ran from Bishops place, Amos pulled her along keeping them in the shadows as they ran, he knew Cyndi was badly injured. She was a trooper though. After nearly an hour of running and hiding they arrived at the apartment Amos had rented, unlocking the door he helped her in, Cyndi collapsed the minute they got inside, picking her up he carried her into the bedroom and laid her on the bed.
Cyndi tried to get up only to have Amos put a firm hand on her shoulder “Rest, your safe at last. For the record I didn’t tell Usher where you were. Get some sleep, and we’ll talk later. No one but me knows where you are.”
Cyndi’s resolve finally broke and she started to cry, she was exhausted and there was not a part of her that didn’t hurt. “I’m sorry,” she said after a few minutes
“You’ve earned those tears, now go to sleep, I’ll be right out in the other room,” Amos said checking the bandages on her wrists and ankles, they were still bleeding, changing the badges he pulled the blanket over her, dimmed the lights, walked out of the room and closed the door.
